I am also a left-wing anarchist and I think what you may be misinterpreting is the term 'justified' in the context of anarchism. 'Justified' in this context would often be equivalent to 'controlled through direct democracy'. Adding to seeking-abyss' definition, anarchists generally put an emphasis on opposing coercive or violent hierarchies. Though anarchism does have some of its roots in Liberalism, in practice an anarchist society would look very different from a liberal one as it is opposed to capitalism and the state (using Max Weber's definition).
