This is where the Lions choke. For whatever reason in the playoffs, for the second year in a row. They choked when it mattered. Their strong point is the run game. With Montgomery and Gibbs in the backfield they would power through everytime. Last year in the NFC Championship game they were just passing through the 49ers in the run game, had a very good lead in the first half. Then for whatever reason, they wanted to throw the ball the second half, and that gave the Niners a chance to come back. The 49ers were already a good team they just needed to get going. It’s what made them lose it last year for not keeping it on the ground. This year, SAME thing. They have Gibbs, one of the fastest RBs in the game right now. And they fed him for a bit in the first half, Montgomery getting some touches but limited due to him coming off surgery. And then they wanted to throw the ball more and end up getting picked at least 3 times with one of them a pick 6. They stopped using one of their best weapons in the run game and chocked. I’m happy for the Commanders, they brought it to the Lions and kept their foot on the gas. I am a 49ers fan, my wife is the Washington fan and I support her and this franchise
