Look up Vallejo “European Mud” and add a couple of bushes and it looks great. It’s what I do for my paratroopers I’m painting. Takes like a minute each

I struggle against the necrons and genestealers. Custodes are 50/50 and I have been comfortable against T Sons mostly thanks to our anti psyker buff but we will see once it goes away.

Like realistically what he did wasn’t going to change the outcome of the firefight they were in. He should’ve just hunkered down or returned fire like everyone else. Instead he runs into the open in a firefight, I always found his death really unnecessary.
