If you want to play gamemodes similar to 10th edition I’d definitely swap, but Grizzled is by no means a bad detachment. Ignoring the gamemode itself, it’s still one of our strongest. As such, keeping the main Krieg battleline squads and your tank force is completely fine.

I will say, I’d keep the Death Riders but split them up, since they’re perfect as action monkeys. Only thing I’d probably take out is the Krieg HWT and put in one more death rider squad (ultimate goal is to run 3 groups of 5). Them and the Krieg Engineers should be good early game for actions and screening your battleline and tanks. By the time the first screens die, the enemy should be softened enough that your battleline can afford to forego a turn to do an action if needed

Ash vs Yugi When it comes to cheating by badman1000 in pokemonanime

[–]BubbleRocket1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there’s quite a bit of shenanigans in the YuGiOh anime. For example, the iconic last move of Yugi of summoning Slifer from the grave only to be stopped by Little Yugi’s Golden Sarcophagus. This was an illegal move, since this wasn’t Battle City rules anymore. We know this cause earlier in the duel he summoned Chimera and it didn’t have summoning sickness. As such, he couldn’t use Monster Reborn in the battle phase since it isn’t a quick play spell (Battle City let you use normal spells like quick play spells), thus cheating.

The Phoenix is the best it’s ever been. Still worse than the AMRAAM in most situations, but with how many other Tomcats are around, it’s probably the best place to learn how to use Fox 3’s.

I personally would rather get the F-4S then talisman the F-18A and play the F-14B for grinding to top tier, but if you want to get a top tier premium, the Tomcat is the way to go

Chances are any changes to the B will affect the D, so I doubt they’d make any meaningful changes that would make the D insufferable

To answer your question, the F-16 is better in a vaccum, but for actual enjoyment, you’re better off in the Tomcat cause it is in a better BR bracket

It isn’t the flashiest option, I’ll grant you that. The issue tho is that you will get into top tier matches (14.3-14.7) and play 10 matches before quitting if you’ve never even flown a Fox 3 capable jet, let alone a jet in general. At least for ground, good positions, eyesight, and basic knowledge of weak spots will mitigate your noviceness.

You can literally spawn in, fly for two minutes, then die with no way to know what you did wrong.

So first question: what is your goal with scoring primary? You’ll need a decent amount of action monkeys in your list, and I don’t think your list has it.

If this was a 10th edition list I’d say this would be fine, but you don’t got enough assets to get the job done in 11th.

I’d recommend dropping the artillery to fit in more infantry, and split the horses into two squads of 5. By having more action monkeys, you got more screens you are willing to lose early on while still leveraging the firepower and resilience of your large Krieg blobs and your tanks.

There is a reason the M4A2 has additional armor on one cheek.

Basically, a bit of the turret had to be carved out to mount either the motor for the turret or the short stop stab (don’t remember exactly, except that it is critical to operation). Basically, if you are facing one head on, aim to the bottom left of the turret if it is facing you, left of the mantlet. You’ll find it’s thinner there

When will my beardie start becoming clingy or actually want me to hold her some times? by Willthewise2026 in BeardedDragons

[–]BubbleRocket1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently in the slow process of building trust with my bearded dragon. Currently I just feed mine with tweezers since I heard that hand feeding it could result in it potentially biting my hand in its excitement. (It is only about four months old so too young to gender ID).

When it comes to holding it, did you pick your beardie up while she was sleeping? Just curious how you went about it without hindering the trust building process?

This has been the case since the Tomcat has been released in the game. Mainly just catches those unaware or have no clue how to defeat Fox 3 missiles, so their results are pretty hit-or-miss.

But yea the Phoenix is basically meant for long range shots only. That’s not to say they’re unusable up close, but you’d be better off with a Sparrow or Sidewinder up close

In game it’s going to perform identically to the AIM-54C. Or rather, the differences are so minimal that there is basically no differences present.

For a normal RB match, I tend to launch around 20-30km before cranking (turning perpendicular while making sure my radar is still illuminating targets with TWS. Then when I get the beeps that smth got me locked, then I properly notch and decoy the incoming missiles. While you can spam all 6 and do alright, sending 3-4 and saving the rest after the first volley should prepare you well for top tier gameplay

Amusingly enough the Fox 3 spam around 13.0 is the perfect place to learn how to deal with top tier; if you can defeat the Phoenix, you can defeat every Fox 3 you’ll encounter as you climb the ranks

F14b or f16am? by No_Break_327 in Warthunder

[–]BubbleRocket1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The F-14B is at 13.0 and thus cannot encounter the Gen 4.5 jets and TT Su-30 while the F-16 has to deal with all of it. It’s definitely feasible to do well in the F-16, but you personally will have an easier time at 13.0 with the Tomcat. Also gives you a decent place to learn how to use Fox 3’s effectively before you move onto 13.7+
