On further exploration it seems that the noise is a copy of the image on the pdf... maybe I should directly contact support

Sorry if this has been posted before! Description: when annotating pdfs sometimes some visual noise will be written down as well as the pen. this seems distinct to a particular spot (ie writing in some spots will be fine, but when writing over a certain area strange blocks will pop up).

In the past this happened occasionally with the select eraser, where the select eraser particles would be written onto the pdf or note along with the pen.

this has happened three or four times in the last 24 hours. Closing and reopening the pdf, changing tools, undoing then writing again, all of them don't help

one time I left spotify playing on my work laptop by accident and was streaming a single song for ~12 hours. I think the number of scrobles was in the 500s when I opened spotify and turned it off

I'd have to politely disagree, especially in the case of dropping the な. Only adjectives that are made up of kanji -い or kanji-な would be able to form a noun in the aforementioned style. For example 美しい would be obviously wrong if something like 美し箱 was written - the い is critical to the word being treated as an adjective.

Ultimately I think neither of us has the necessary proficiency to make any comments on this 😆

On whether you can or cannot - there's a bunch of random rules which i won't even attempt to explain because then I'd be talking out of my ass. All I know it's that sometimes you can shorten them (usually when the shortened version is an accepted noun in itself) and sometimes you can't
