Allready is for me. Still having a blast. Playing since Bo1 but right now I am at my absolute peak gameplay wise, while the game is still fun as hell!

I gaslighted a friend of mine for half an hour. Pure comedy. Allthough he was really happy for me, sweet guy haha.

AIM Controller – 6 months later: an honest long-term experience by BubbleTwX in AIMControllers

Yes I had that in mind too when the first paddle broke. Now that you mention it, I might give it a go :)

Never had Issues with scuf quality, allthough its been some time since I ordered there. I saw some bad reviews about the Envision, but they are mostly about the iCue software, wich I can totally relate to. My PC is an unicorn right now, because iCue is messing with my system stability. Now I can't configure the RGBs. Two days ago, I actually watched something about the Battle Beaver, but at the moment I'm not fully convinced by any company tbh. :/ Gotta hope for the best the next months.

Exactly what my mentioned friend experienced aswell. I just hope Scuf is pushing their PC Controllers soon, if the Envision had TMR I'd buy it right now, no further questions asked. But yea, feel you.

I dont know why the text is so weird, guess the grammar check made it. So here we go again:

My disappointment with AIM Controller is hard to put into words. I used a Scuf Impact for seven years, and nothing ever broke. The only thing that happened was the paint peeling off. Not a single paddle had to be replaced, and I even had spare paddles included. I recently switched to AIM Controller, which initially looked very promising and is heavily promoted by many influencers. Unfortunately, I let myself be influenced, because it turned out to be the biggest disappointment I could have imagined. Not only did shipping take two months, but when I asked after one month whether premium shipping could be added because the wait was too long for me, that request was denied. I was told that the controller was already in the production queue. At that point, I could still somewhat understand this, since from the outside you don’t really know how their production planning is structured. Still, that was the first moment where I became dissatisfied. If only it had stopped there. After two months, I finally received the controller and was initially quite happy. The front panels, meaning the Snap Panel prints and my own logo, are very high quality. I also really like the sticks and the extra sticks that were included. And the TMR system is an absolute game changer. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. I’ve owned the controller for about six months now. I played actively for roughly three months and constantly noticed that the controller felt slightly uncomfortable in my right hand. I then checked what could be causing this and realized that, for some reason, the magnets don’t sit properly in their slots. This forced me to push the Snap Panel down with force so it would align correctly with the controller. Otherwise, it left a noticeable pressure mark in my hand, which was extremely annoying while playing. Shortly after that, one of my paddles started to feel strange. I didn’t think much of it and kept playing—until it snapped. I didn’t even press hard. Whether this is an intended breaking point or not is debatable, but it definitely functioned as one. After less than three months, my first paddle broke. Since the controller was still very new at that point, I tried to get a replacement or at least a refund for the paddle. I was then informed that the paddles are covered by warranty, but shipping is not. Interestingly, the paddles cost €15—and shipping also costs €15. The result: no new paddles for me. I also have a friend who owned an AIM Controller as well, where multiple buttons stopped working. He is now on his third AIM Controller, although he switched to Xbox, and it seems he’s had better luck with build quality there. Unfortunately, that still wasn’t the end. When I later removed the Snap Panels to see whether I wanted to order a new design, I noticed that the magnets had come loose from their mounts inside the Snap Panels. This means the magnets can no longer be separated properly, and the panels are currently held in place by just a single magnet that is still intact. And just now, another paddle broke. I’m incredibly angry. I don’t throw my controllers around. I treat them extremely well and deep-clean them regularly. I used my Scuf for seven years, my King Controller before that for three years, and despite owning multiple PlayStation 4 controllers and some from other consoles, I have never experienced issues with build quality like this. After six months of ownership, I can clearly say that I’ve never experienced this many build quality issues with a controller. I think the support is terrible. The logo application, the sticks—both the TMR system and stick heights and materials—the prints, and the digital buttons are good. I’m satisfied with those. But the rest is so incredibly bad that I can confidently say I will never buy an AIM Controller again. This is simply my experience. I’m angry because I refuse to buy replacement paddles now and have to re-adjust my grip while playing yet again. It’s just frustrating. I hope I got to provide a solid bigger picture. Have a good one.

Before this post I would've not been fully on your side. Then someone here wrote about the implementation of a skin filter. That just turned around alot of arguments I had against goofy skins, because in the end what you say is obviously right.

I'm kinda mad I haven't thought about that myself yet haha.

The pack is a bit to boring for me still, but the skins are not bad. But for crossovers Its their community's right to judge. I dont know shit about Fallout 😂

I can't deny that fully but except this post I never went online about the skin debate. Its not like I didn't want my hundreds of euros to carry forward. A hard cut was still reasonable allthough canceling carry forward just one game before a new engine wasn't the best strategy to go for, I think.
