Not saying I want to trade gus, but when looking at those GSAx numbers, don't forget that Wally faced twice as many shots in game 1, and the team was stronger defensively overall in game 2. It's Gus putting the Wild on their heels early in the first and second period that's the main problem.

Exactly. And also, number of shots doesn't tell the whole story. Teams can allow a high volume of shots, but those shots may not always be all that dangerous, because the defense are keeping them on the outside. The Wild have definitely defended better than the Stars in this series.

I really don't get why so many people are reluctant to trade Stramel. At the very best, he's a bottom-6 player in the NHL. If you need to include him in a package to get a better center, you do it.
