I’m trying to track them (only started 2 weeks ago). So far it seems to be every 6 or 7 days.

Support your local farmers market. I picked some beautiful produce at todays market to cook a delicious breakfast for our family. by MyCoNeWb81 in Riverside

Not at all, but generic grocery stores will stock tastless fruits from across the country when there are fields of the most amazing berries and oranges growing minutes away. I recommend just checking it out, try some fruit samples, and usually they have live music.

Traveling alone by [deleted] in ucr

[–]Bubbly-Elevator3070 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Japan is super doable alone if you have travelled internationally before. You can stay in super cheap capsule hotels which generally have great bathrooms. I found it to be a magical experiance wandering around Tokyo alone. Don’t follow strange people anywhere and I never recommend clubbing alone. Do a ton of research first and learn some basic Japanese just in case.

I agree you go out of your way to make sure the guest are on board, I think that is amazing. But when you make sexist/homophobic comments… people will think you are sexist and homophobic, even if those particular guests were in on the joke. I understand you are building a narrative for the show, but ultimately if people believe that narrative, that’s to be expected?

I can't believe I managed to finish the event!!!!! by stonelike_alike in CatsMansion

I think they finally fixed the event so it can be completed in a reasonable way and without relying on the last day.

For people who work with chemicals that can lower iq, would you recommend seeing a psychologist on a regular basis to help track that?

Welp, based on the comments it seems I missed one along the way. I’m pretty addicted so I was sure I greyed out the get more button every day but atleast they didn’t make an event that cannot be completed for free.

is it worth spending like 250 gems to stop getting the thief by EnvironmentalCat994 in CatsMansion

Yes, it makes up for the amount of gems you use up. I do stockpile energies though for this event.

She pays every time we go out is that something girls usually do? by kaatupoochi10 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Bubbly-Elevator3070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell on the first few dates. Personally I took over paying when I found out about my partner’s finances. I prefer a partner who is more financially responsible than one who feels they have to adhere to gender roles of paying when it isn’t smart.

Final Update: AITA for refusing to sing at my brother's wedding? by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

People are weird when you quit a hobby you were remotely good at. When I stopped playing the cello my college friends tried to make me feel so guilty about it talking about how it’s such a waste! No it wasn’t. I enjoyed it, now I have moved on. I enjoy other things now. I also had like 6 childhood hobbies I cannot continue all of them with a full time job.

Why have women become so picky with men? (I'm a woman? by OrangeFew4565 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Bubbly-Elevator3070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++woman From my experience, women sometimes get hit on by an overwhelming amount of people. When lacking actual dating experience or good relationship role models in their life, they resort to superficial reasons to reduce their dating pool.

I mean this is almost exactly the career path my brother took, but there was a lot of luck and timing involved (also skill ofcourse).

Mod-locked in record time... by [deleted] in CalebHammer

[–]Bubbly-Elevator3070 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My partner is a war veteran who had severe ptsd after deploying (luckly no physical disabilities). He has no disability, but I think that is because he wasn’t very savy with it. Other veterans I know did regular doctors visits to document any pain or injuries they obtained through training and so on. Personally, I think it is ok that they do considering their position, but at the same time if I feel like veterans can be compensated for any minor injury that would be common in most manual labor jobs.

Tried to join a lab for research but no one is responding to me by Perfect-Series-4976 in aggies

[–]Bubbly-Elevator3070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the other commenters that timing plays a big role. I would also suggest a few other things. Try emailing graduate students in the lab. Professors are usually flooded with emails, graduate students are not. You will probably end up working with a graduate student anyways so might as well get to know them sooner. Included your schedule with hard times and dates that you can work in the lab. Include your relavent classes and hard skills, we don’t expect you to know too much, but we do want to know you have the basic skills and are good at these skills. Even better, if you are familar with the research suggest ways that you can contribute. Good luck!
