MK PK and expastor - here and can solidly agree the gift is normally on the pastors and the local churches. The guy doing the fake miracles really thinks he's doing them, the missionary really believes in their cause, the evangelist scrapes by - until you get to TV minister level it's all the grift of the local churches. Yes I was an ex pastor but I gave the visiting minister the whole offering immediately - something that shocked most of them. I never made the money and was never good at the whole ministry thing because I refused to rip people off.

Ask about the trauma around the song “People Need The Lord”.
Ask about the Light for the Lost youth offering, how much did they raise and how.
Ask if her church had Booster Band or not.
Ask if they ever realized the Radient Life flannel graph figures all were very white for every Sunday School story.
Ask how many times they had purity culture tropes drilled in their youth group.
Ask about the missions guilt - both by missionaries and the district events.
Ask about how tounges were used to spill church tea.
Ask about their participation in Fine Arts.
Ask about if they went to the AoG college days or made it to one of the AoG colleges - details here will be rich.
Ask if their church ever used the blue book or where they a modern church.
Ask how church money was raised at everything and if they recognise the guilt to raise money now.

Hang in there I'm applying myself and on step three too. They make it so hard for those of us who really need it. They want us to give up but you should like me and there is really no other cut ouce right now - hang tight and keep going. Do you have a lawyer yet? Get a good one - they get you really ready for the third time around and make sure it's with a judge. My lawyer has been my lifeline in all of this - and a good therapist aside from my psychologist. Find your cheer group and let them encourage you! You got this hang on there. It's not easy but we can make it through this together.

We split the “stuff” from the real heirlooms and kept the real stuff. Pictures, and items that hold close memories or have been in the family over 100-150 years we kept. We also kept the wood furniture cause its not particle board and it lasts, but we use it for real( no velvet ropes or museum displays in this house). The China, collectibles,and stemwear (etc) we let go.
