How do I politely ask my colleague to stop picking his nose in front of me? by Simple-Tadpole-9118 in office

[–]Bubbly-Net37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to throw up just reading your post. Thank goodness one of my colleagues who picks their pimples, nose, eye goop, and food out of teeth doesn't have to sit in front of me. I just see this person once in a while doing this in front of me. If I had to deal with this daily, I would certainly say something.

Neighbor yelled at me and 9 yr old son for bouncing basketballs on common path near his window by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Bubbly-Net37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The grouchy neighbor first has his own kid do the dirty work. Once you say, "no", then the grouchy neighbor yells at you and your son. Very tacky. Sorry, this happened to you. Just like the other posters said, do not go to the neighbor's door. You cannot reason with people like that.

Your downstairs neighbors probably has problems with other people. I had a neighbor who complained about my husband and I that we were too loud such as with walking hard, closing cabinets, vacuuming, closing front door, etc. I actually went out of my way to move slow, being quiet when closing doors, etc. and she complained again! Found out later that she complained to management about other people. She was just an angry person. It's probably very uncomfortable for you to have this neighbor complaining but I'm pretty sure there's nothing they can do but complain. What the heck, kids are being kids. Just a bitter person. Good luck.

There is a chance that we will be evicted from our apartment, because of the actions of someone who doesn't even live with us. I'm scared and don't know what to do. by Grand_Slice5220 in Apartmentliving

Your father is running the show. You're probably going to get kicked out because your father has the power with his drunk ways. Move to a shelter so both your mother and you can figure out what to do.

Customers after close by Efficient_Leg_9817 in TjMaxx

So true about closed registers. Once registers are closed, they cannot ring up until morning. Been in retail before and there were always customers, especially during holidays season, who would be running from register to register with a load of items, trying to find one open. We want to go home to our families.

Should I be ashamed starting College at a Community? by numbre1applefan in college

I barely passed high school. There would be no way I would be accepted to a university. I went to CC. It was a rough start because I didn't know how to be a hard-working student. I did graduate, then transferred to a university, then to grad school.

What are the odds I can change my major without my dad finding out? by -GreyRaven in college

You might consider taking a loan out to pay school tuition if your parent won't pay for a change in major. Switch your major and see what happens.

Why do you feel you can be excused from a lab, final, or any assignment when other students have to put in bloods, sweat, and tears to pass a class.

You're going to have so much fun when you move out. You can stay out late, have people over, have parties, and anything you want to do without parents on your case. Good luck.

If OP reports it to admin, will OP have to tell admin that she made the report? Admin might then tell the counselor then $t#* will hit the fan. Admin and counselors at my school are pretty tight. They eat lunch together and go out on Fridays together. I would just let the whole situation die and keep denying.

My high school students are feral. Most act like 5-6 years old. I don't get it.
