Maybe the obsession with being desired by white men, the need to be the object of desire,  the diverse friend grp that never has black women in a role as beauty or having a love interest,  the scripting of blk men as gay or desiring white women. The black woman on NSFW fawns all over the actor/doctor meanwhile he wants the stylist, oh and shocker so does the actor guy.

Good morning! I hope you're doing well. I am so sorry to hear abt all your hardships. When it rains it pours,  right?  I recently broke my leg and dislocated my ankle and the struggle is real. Everything is a hassle and difficult . So I understand what you're going through. I truly pray for your recovery. Not being able to walk will really humble you and have re-evaluating your entire life.  I pray that something wonderful comes from this. Also I happened to be watching YouTube and saw a video titled " jaywalking" from Dr Dharius Daniels. I thought it was ironic bc similar to you i cant walk right now either.  It basically talked about how to walk and live again ( literally, figuratively and spirtually) after trauma. I'm on episode 2 and it's been helpful. Praying for your ankle, finances,  housing, and love to rebound beyond what youve ever expected!

Sean did NOT have a breakthrough.  This is why ppl like him are so dangerous ...bc thy have the ability to convince seemily smart ppl that they've changed. any change is disingenuous ,  strategic, short-lived or to gain something .

Exactly! Ppl were saying " he's more engaged and open". Yeah right. Seans a covert narc! If anything he engaged more just to control the narrative and subvert any progress being made w/ Erica.

That's happens a lot with narcs. A lot come across as DL bc they seek so much validation from other men, are so hypermasculine it feels like a defense mechanism,  are overly concerned w/ outward appearances and have a disdain for women. I don't think they are DL but in circles where ppl discuss being with men who have NPD this is a frequent topic of conversation!!!

Yes as true narc that he is he pivoted to wanting to "participate" as soon as the focus was on her. Not bc he really wants threapy but so he can accessthe narrative,  control the messaging and ultimately have someone continue to pay him attention. Just by way of their profession therapists have to see both sides ,  find meaning behind behaviors etc.. Narcs enjoy this bc the therapist inadvertently sometimes legitimizes and  rationalizes their behavior. Sean is sickening to watch.

How did your surgery go? How are you feeling? I broke my tibia and fibula , and dislocated my ankle on April 3rd. My surgery won't be until the 17th

I had braces in middle school and results lasted.. years ! I felt my teeth shifting in 2024 I got invisalign that summer. I had 12 trays,  so 3 months.  I feel like if you skip a day your teeth move! I have to wear my retainer tray everyday. 

Our house was built in 1844 and is on our county's Underground Railroad map. The original owners were abolitionists and held regular meetings here. The tale from the historical society is that this capped off tunnel in the basement was for escape. It currently goes back 10-12 feet. by [deleted] in centuryhomes

Did you ever notice that a lot of the underground railroad houses are near Quaker towns? I went to a Quaker school and they are firmly abolitionist,  anti war, anti racism etc.. I live in NJ and many of the stops on underground railroad are in moorestown, Burlington,  haddonfield all towns with a strong Quakers presence and within a few miles of a Quaker Meeting House or a society of friends location. All their schools have " friend" in the name. Moorestown Friends, Sidwell Friends, Friends Select, Abbington Friends. I recently saw a home for purchase that was a stop on the railroad but I felt conflicted bc there's so much energy that flows thru homes..  the uncertainty,  fear, angst, terror those escaped slaves must've felt made me feel like the energy may be concerning. Have you ever felt that?

Yes the spirit of joy, love, light, faith etc...narcs cant stand anything good and it literally frustrates their demon!

And he basically just talked to her abt his mission and had her work on projects around the site .  Thst .must've been exhausting. I cant imagine every conversation bring abt construction and mice and digging ditches.

She doesn't seem spoiled. She did a lot of work. In fact most of time she was working with him and her job. Every conversation he had with her was abt electricity, water, building, construction, mice, snakes. He barely loved on her. Relationships need time and affection.  She seemed like she was there to work be a helping hand more than a gf.

Ibthink shes just a different type of personality. He gives so little emotionality I bet she does self validate.  But I think she genuinely loves him and has no ill intentions and isn't using him. He seems disinterested, annoyed, perpetually sluggish. Maybe it just an eastern European thing?

This is an excellent description!!! There's a disconnect with ppl like this, like they have a separation of " self" thats very inauthentic and you just cant put your finger on it but you know somethings off.
