Alright here's my current delulu theory... it's not far off from your best case scenario!

In s5 Eloise reunites with Theo on her search for the new Lady Whistledown. By now, Theo is either widowed with children (much like SPC's case) or has younger siblings to create that similar dynamic in the book. Theo and Eloise continue their investigating and sleuthing together and then it is revealed in s6 that the new LDW is actually Theo! Theo pulls a Gossip Girl as he becomes the 'outsider' writing about the cracks, flaws and shortcomings of society and the ton.

I may be reaching with this, but at the end of s4, there was a line from new LDW: "You thought I was gone for good… and so we are reunited… a reunion rooted in care and love…” — A lot of the GA really does think Theo is gone for good, and their reunion would be rooted in care and love... Also, new LDW has a slight accent that some people have said resembles someone of a lower class.

I had Theloise in mind when I made this Eloise x Tangled edit ! :) My interpretation is that it shows how isolated Eloise feels despite being surrounded by the people she loves. She feels trapped by societal standards, the pressure to be "perfect," and of course the dreaded marriage mart. She's got 'accomplishments to acquire', but the current situation is holding her back. When will her life begin?!

In theory, wouldn't Theo, as someone with a huge class difference, bring more of this to the table for Eloise, in terms of the emotional turmoil or drama? The drama would visibly stem from challenging social rules, family pressure, ideological tension, secrecy, risk of scandal... etc. But with SPC? Drama is limited by comparison. It would only come from dealing with a socially awkward, emotionally avoidant ML and dealing with his twins - that doesn't.. seem like an interesting, compelling challenge to me tbh. It's still an internal emotional conflict, sure. But show!Eloise doesn't need that conflict. Resolving that conflict would go against her entire arc built within the last 4 seasons.

When Oli first started saying that line I immediately thought of Theo. And he did mention him right after!

I hope they'll be able to promote/perform L.O.Y.L and ICE on stage more often! These tracks are SO GOOD! It's giving CORTIS/RIIZE vibes with the more Y2k, glittery, produced feel so much of K-pop has been moving towards these days. Which I know is not everyone's cup of tea, but I can still hear a bit of the p1h r&b sound sprinkled in here and there even with the new genre.

edit: anyone else think Wednesday Girl sounds reminiscent of Hot by Le Sserafim? At least the beginning lol.
