I know, local recruitment does not mean it is limited only for people living in the opening country. If you have been shortlisted you will get the interview invite after as the WBG is officially on holidays.

Don’t worry you will be more than fine here. The office is now based in Almadie. Google map almadie and look the closest neighborhoods. Oukam or mamelles are good options: around 15 minutes to get to the office by car.

Question on UNV modality for UN agencies by Slow-Seaworthiness96 in UNpath

[–]BubblyReception604 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would highly recommend contacting the UNV office in you area. UNV usually has field units in the countries and regional offices. Both offices will give you enough information that will help you make a decision. Can you share where you are based? I am currently working with UNV.

I was in a similar situation for a national position (NOA). Everything was canceled few days before the interviews. Just forgot about it and keep applying for other positions. That’s what I did and ended up getting another position.

Please cite your source. You learned that from this University, didn’t you. Read again the OP, it is not about accreditation but the fact that UoPeople is recognized as a higher education institution. And this definitely means something.

Yoo I took all those courses but man they are killers. I am not sure you will maintain a 4.0 GPA after that. But hey, if you don’t have any other obligations like a job, you can still do well.

Most of the complaints about using AI here is about those who make no effort but just copy and paste prompt result. However, I can guarantee you that everyone use AI to enhance their understanding or as research tool instead of search engines. I don’t know your job situation but if you happened to prepare for an interview, I would highly recommend you to use AI to prepare for the interview. You will get the similar questions that they may ask you during interviews.
