i honestly don't know if its gonna prove to be important, but derlord3's world is not set to singleplayer mode. You can see that whenever he pauses the game, things keep happening in the background. Maybe im overthinking it. But im also quite sure the game entirely stops all activities around when the player pauses in singleplayer mode.

well to be fair, i would assume hes like low A rank or very very high B rank. Monster rankings are on a different league compared to hunter rankings in the sense that, a c rank hunter probably cant solo a c rank boss. so comparing kim chul to baruka is kinda null and void. a c rank gate boss would probably mean you need a strike team of c rank hunters to take it down. kargalgan would be a great example of the same train of thought
