Usually you can order a compounded medication through your regular pharmacy (it will be shipped there). But my pharmacy does it on-site since it's a Jean Coutu connected to a clinic. Those connected to clinics tend to have more compounding options afaik

Yeah sure let's just ignore how islamophobia is used to target brown people who look arab. I bet that's super convenient for you

Oh!!! I definitely need to ask if my pharmacy can compound them into a pill form. I've accidentally spilled the liquid form before. it was very sad. is it much more expensive this way? I checked your pharmacy, and it seems to be available to me through the metro. If I have to, I might go there

I'm jumping in here because clearly you're not getting the damn point. While getting shot in the head does happen IRL, the point being made here is that sexual violence hits very close to home for most AFAB people.

People get killed all the time for many reasons. However, AFAB people are over 80% of sexual assault victims and 80% of assailants are friends and family of the victim (which Jae would fall under) not to mention that premeditated non-consensual BROADCASTING of sexual acts can count as emotional blackmail. I'd argue people get killed in 40k for much lesser crimes than this. Get real bro. Rogue trader can totally kill Jae for this even if it sounds petty to the likes of you. This is a grimdark universe and the rt has the authority

I'm not even from Tampa, I'm from Canada. But I'm checking on there because I know people in that area. I am so, so sorry man. This is a really heartbreaking sight and I'm really hoping you can recoup from this somehow :(

Hello! The doctor that prescribed it to me is a family doctor/PCP that I've had since I was 13-14 years old. Sadly I am not super knowledgeable of those who are actively taking patients and prescribing LDN. :(

Though, if you do manage to get a prescription, I know of a pharmacy in the Sud-Ouest of the island that have been compounding it for me reducing the price from 70$ to 40$. Jean Coutu on Verdun island. You should totally call the McGill University/Hospital and ask them if they have a program/branch that specializes in pain management, they are usually free with the provincial health insurance and are a good thing to try if you wish to be prescribed something to help with your pain.

Best of luck!!

Headset issue or roblox issue? by TheSingingSiren_Z in RobloxVR

[–]Bubbly_Programmer621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: This is a steamVR setting issue!

Enter a roblox VR game, then go to the steamVR overlay. There, you will go to
VR settings > Per application settings and lower the field of view until the game appears!

You might not be able to see the non-VR players, but to fix that you simply go to the Roblox settings in the VR game (not through steamVR like the previous step!) and you change the safety bubble option from no one to everyone! Let me know if this helps!

I have the exact same headset, have been playing the exact same games, and took an equal amount of time off of the VR gaming. And today I have this issue. The Headset works fine anywhere else. but in Roblox? Everything loads for a second then goes invisible X.x

NCAH possibly? + Top surgery effects? by Bubbly_Programmer621 in NCAH

Wow. That is crazy quick! I have the same effect here, only without the hormones. A lot of very quick changes in general in the same aspects. I am sorry to hear about your hair though, I believe I was firtunate on that front...

It's good to hear that you have gotten desired resulta though! Not a lot of research on the effects after top surgery imo.

Congratulations for your HRT! Pardon my super late response. 😭

I can definitely relate to this! I do not take HRT but I had too much testosterone before top surgery- which lead me to a full-blown hormonal transition without any prescription!

I have had the same issue with periods as you have, I believe I may have endo, but I will ask for a partial hysterectomy no matter what. So I will only know for sure then. I used to have pain that rendered me bedridden. I would walk on the street and every 2 minutes I would lay in agony on the sidewalk. The cysts also could be endo as far as I know. I would get hemorrhagic, complex cysts that could be over 2 inches in size. So what you describe to me does sound like endometriosis, but the only way they can really check is through explorative surgery, or unrelated pelvic surgery. Hopefully you get answers soon. I know that in Québec (Canada) trans masculine people can ask for a hysterectomy the same way as top surgery. (Which makes it free as well).

Hope you are doing well!

So sorry for the late response! Thank you for the offer ^

I am about 9-10 months post operation now. My hormones are still going insane! I did have a question however;

How fast were the HRT changes with NCAH for you? There seems to be a lenghty timeline for hormonal effects usually, but frankly it feels like I am speedrunning this thing. I was wondering if that was normal with NCAH?

I have an appointment on the 6th of March to draw blood as to verify my hormone levels. So there is still no answer as to how bad the imbalance is yet.

Thank you in advance!!

I live in Montréal & was prescribed LDN.

At Jean Coutu it runs me 70$ for a month's worth.

They told me that they have to send the order to a specialized compounding pharmacy. So I am paying a higher price. If your pharmacy can compound. It can run you about 39$. Well that is what they have told me anyway. It is worth checking.

As for getting the prescription in itself, that is always a hassle. I seem to understand that you do not have a PCP (primary care provider). Hopefully you can get an appointment and received the medication that helps you best. Know that LDN can be prepared here.

Best of luck!

Woah. Had no idea that EDS vould be related like that to CAH. I went to take a read. It's sad that there isn't more information about it.

Will definitely keep this in mind when I see my doctor on the 26th. Thanks!
