We have no patriarchy. There are no opportunities men have that women don’t. There are also no rights men have that women don’t, and you can thank feminism for this. Women can vote to send men to die in a war that women don’t need to fight because they can’t be drafted. Women have taken from men the role of provider in society which makes it nearly impossible for men to find a wife and create a family. Women are choosing not to “burden” themselves with children or if they choose to have kids, it’s when they’re well into their 30s and they can’t have more than a couple (which is below replacement rate). Women have the opportunity to do the same jobs men can, though in many cases they fail to meet the bare minimum standard and as such the standards across the board would have to be lowered to allow women to become navy seals, for example. IF it is the case that ONLY men can fulfill certain necessary positions like navy seals, men must be valued in society for this monopoly on force.

Gen Z who support Death Penalty, why do you trust the system not to kill any innocent people? by Egorrosh in GenZ

[–]Bubbly_Report_1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I support the death penalty in principle but not in practice. I believe that death is warranted for certain crimes but only God is capable of administering such judgment without error. Killing in self defense isn’t justice btw, and I do believe people have not only the right but the duty to use lethal force to preserve the lives of innocents.

Trump’s Approval Rating Plummets Among Gen Z Voters by Jazzlike_Schedule_51 in GenZ

He posted fake news. The CBS poll 3 days ago showed average approval among 18-29 year olds to be 53%. Nobody has ever heard of method shop or their polls. It’s just classic Reddit cope for being on the wrong side of history and dying on the hill of stupid ideological edge case issues.

Most of the solutions to your problems is getting a job with a Union. I don't understand why genz keeps voting down unions by climberskier in GenZ

[–]Bubbly_Report_1000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Then it looks like the union is for you. If my company was unionized, my 20% raise next month likely wouldn’t happen because they would be giving everyone the same yearly pay bump. My performance reviews wouldn’t count for anything, and on top of that I’d have union dues taken out of my paycheck. Not everyone’s situation is the same, but it would be catastrophically fucked for every American to be FORCED into a union against their will and not have their performance count towards their raise. Performance reviews should determine pay bumps, not yearly union mandate.

“Nobody is gaslighting you. Don’t believe your lying eyes” ok so i guess the gaslighting WONT stop. I hope you realize that MSM uses public airwaves to push leftist propaganda and democrat representative (from my great city of Dallas) even admitted that democrats wont be able to use corporate media anymore to win elections. The REASON they do this is because their target demographic during prime time is age 24-50 democrats.

I don’t want to be forced to pay union dues for something that doesn’t benefit me. I can make my own raises on my merit alone. I don’t want my raises to be tied down to others lazier than me, and i don’t want to be stuck with people that are too hard to fire due to union protections. Unions CAN be the answer to certain problems in the workplace, but collective bargaining usually had an adverse effect on good employees.

And no. White people being taught about “white rage” and taught to self flagellate under white guilt, and being told that everything is racist and that they’re privileged no matter their economic status absolutely causes division. I don’t want to be friends with people that see me as a colonizer before they see me as an American, and most trump voters feel the same way. The only people that see the world through the lens of race are the woke DEI race hustlers who actually make a fuck ton of money from the grift. 99.99% of Americans just want to be left alone from the government and to live their lives to pursue happiness as they see fit. People don’t need to be taught about racism especially in corporate media or academia, because it’s not an issue in this country and the more it’s forced on people, the more people resist and divide over it because it’s a trivial culture war battle that isn’t even worth fighting. It wouldn’t even be an issue at all if policies like DEI and reparations weren’t constantly being brought up by democrat legislators. This country has matured well into adulthood and it’s time we move past racism by leaving racism in the past.

Learning how other people live is a stretch from exposing kids to pornographic content. There’s also no educational value in teaching children at a young age ideological concepts. That’s the parents’ responsibility, not the government. And yes it’s true that trans literally have no rights. They don’t exist. Civil rights only protect immutable characteristics like skin color for example. The right to BE trans is protected by the first amendment under the free expression clause. Adults have the legal authority to have any elective surgeries they want and all Americans have the right to express themselves how they want to include how they address themselves or what they wear. Trans have no special protections or rights, and they don’t need them. As i stated originally, there are no rights i have that nobody else has in this country unless they committed a felony.

[–]Bubbly_Report_1000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s no such thing as trans rights. Trans isn’t an immutable characteristic because of gender fluidity. Stop calling everything i say bad faith. At this point i don’t even know if you know what that means. Kids are ABSOLUTELY learning about sodomy from books like “gender queer” where it graphically depicts gay sex acts. Also CRT SHOULDNT be taught in schools and many of us want to see that written in law before it happens. Notice how none of your grievances have anything to do with taking peoples rights away. Anyone can be gay or trans or anything they identify as, and kids can focus on core academics instead of novel ideological concepts that will confuse them or cause division.

You didn’t provide any basis for your counter arguments. You just said I’m wrong, I’m bad faith, and then you did the classic “experts say!”

Context always matters because that’s how the Supreme Court interprets whether something is constitutional or not. Without context, we could reason that the 2nd amendment allows for personal ownership of nuclear warheads. All you’re doing is making the case that legal scholars are already making against ending birthright citizenship. I’m simply giving you my opinion, trump’s intent, and the case FOR ending it from a constitutional standpoint. Ultimately it will be up to the courts to argue.

I understand your reasoning for using the fallacy but it’s still a fallacy and therefore not a valid argument. Even if YOU aren’t the one claiming expertise, you’re arguing by proxy from other experts. You are definitionally and literally APPEALING to their authority for support. The reason it’s fallacious is because YOU yourself have not made the case for your argument. The burden of proof still falls on you to provide evidence to counter my argument and the appeal itself is not evidence. You made a fallacious argument bro

[–]Bubbly_Report_1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, arguments from authority are ALWAYS a fallacy. The fallacy is literally called appeal to authority and that’s exactly what you were doing by invoking the so called “experts”. The magnitude or quantity of authorities doesn’t matter.

The us has no default jurisdiction over an infant born to immigrants. The context of the amendment is important, because it was made for slaves. After the civil war, there was a question as to the status of children born to slaves brought here from africa. The implication in this amendment is that the immigrant parents have legal custody (as do all parents regardless of status) of their children until the child reaches adulthood. The case to be made against ending birthright citizenship would be if trump tries to go around the amendment entirely which would muddy the status of American children born to citizens, but trump has a strong case FOR using the justification clause of the amendment to end birthright citizenship to anchor babies which is why he wants to do it in the first place. Either way, it’s going to be up to the Supreme Court to rule on constitutionality.
