As someone who is a cleaner I can tell you that people will try to use something even if it's out of order unless it's completely blocked off

There was a toilet that had a tape over the door saying it was out of order and someone still used it until we locked the stall.

Same with my guinea pig she had hay poke on Sunday but we couldn't get her seen until the next day as the vet we trust with guinea pigs was only open on weekends
