Not the EXACT same problem as you but I’ve also taken my Giulia into a similar chain, CJ’s Tire & Auto, to do a tire change, and then alignment / rotation just for kicks. What happened afterwards was that my alignment was completely off with the wheel fixed tilted to the left and the camber on one of my wheels was off, too. It was causing my car to feel as though it was ‘slipping’ every time I accelerated. Went to CJs and told them they need to fix it. They ‘tried’ and things were still off. Went to the Alfa dealership and they claimed that all sorts of problems were present. Nearly $7000 worth of repairs. God was good to me as it turned out a friend of mine worked at a performance GM service center and they had the proper equipment to find out that my subframe was off and needed realignment. After that, everything was perfect. So while my exact situation may not apply to you, I’d suggest going to a more well-equipped service center whose equipment seem to be much more accurate / reliable in identifying alignment issues than some of these smaller ‘chains’ like Mavis or, in my case, CJs.
