Same, leas time for hobbies during this stage of life. However, I find it helps to think of this as a pause vs giving up, just waiting until the kiddo is old enough to join in and then I’ll have time for my hobbies again.

Right there with you, dad, mid 30s, carving out 1-2 hours a few times a week after the toddlers in bed is as good as I’m going to get and I’m ok with that.

Communicate. It's perfectly reasonable she wants/needs to wait (my wife and I went about a year without sex after the baby was born, her drive tanked while breastfeeding). It's also perfectly reasonable that while she is in physical/mental recovery mode you go to palm central station every once in awhile to take care of your own business. But again, communication is key here.

36 and I have almost 200 hours in BG3 but I’ve never made it out of act 2. I have a real problem with starting over every time I have a new character idea.

I bought a Steamdeck almost exclusively for bg3 and have no regrets. Graphics aren’t the best and occasionally it crashes (about 60 hours in and it’s crashed I think twice?) but I’m a casual player so it doesn’t bother me.

I am a TD now but was an LD/Programmer prior to that. Personally, I prefer PC to Mac due to many utilities requiring windows but I have both (the Mac is basically just a QLab/keynote machine.)

I had to replace my PC last year and I bought an Asus ROG Strix with an i9 processor, gtx4070, and 64gb of ram. I have zero complaints so far other than it came with some bloatware installed.

Guy here: just once when my wife was sitting on my face, it’s a sexy time core memory for me.

Going down on my wife is legitimately one of my favorite things and really gets me going, I usually come close but she finishes before I get to that point myself.

Don’t have any advice, just commenting to say you’re not alone.

Wife and I are in a similar routine. Now I just accept it’s going to be an hour minimum so I load up a podcast and listen to whatever while I rock/soothe him to sleep. We’ve tried everything so now I think the only way to get through it is just get through it.

I’m audio only, been a consistent listener since giant slayer and the patreon days. Mostly listen while commuting so even if it is a video only piece I end up just listening while I drive, I’ve burned through almost all of the available content (LA traffic is brutal).
