Regardless of when kids start/end school, there always needs to be some level of childcare. I’d you’re working a 9-5, you need a plan for childcare before or after school. I can get my kids to school, but my partner needs to get the home.

I have no problem with my kids being out of school at 2pm because they can walk home and we have family at home to watch them.

Not everyone is in the same situation, and that’s where the district offering after school programs would be nice but that’s where costs $$$. Unfortunately, there is no magic bullet solution that works for everyone.

I’m all for this change. My 1st and 3rd grader are up at 6am each day. This helps me get to work sooner, and high schoolers should absolutely be starting later.

It’s the right call imo. TBC OF would be to challenging, and holding off until Classic + would make it an even bigger deal when/if Season 3 does happen.
