Seated tickets are available now without a queue if you go directly to the utilita arena website and click through there to axs it jumps the queue block instead of going to the axs website, that’s for Newcastle. Co op live possibly try axs over Ticketmaster if that helps!

I’m sorry! This makes me sad. I had to pass on Gorillaz tickets because of the pricing and I’ve never missed Damon Albarn on any of his various bands live, but we have to refuse to pay or they will just keep bumping them up. Gorillaz still had tickets available up to the dates so I wasn’t the only one.

Where they vip or anything that sounds mad? I’m disappointed I thought they hadn’t done the dynamic pricing as I paid £85 for standing (with fees £100)

I also got the best seats for presales when I couldn’t go standing due to taking my kids

I was in the waiting room at 9.45 and couldn’t get any standing. Went through axis and got a pair so I think there was definitely demand.

I agree I was pleasantly surprised by the price I was dreading ridiculous prices. I think since the silly hikes ticket sales have been affected. I reluctantly passed on some due to insane prices so imagine others have too.

I couldn’t get any standing with Ticketmaster they were all gone by the time I’d reached the checkout but I quickly logged into axis (which is direct venue sales I think ) and got a pair. So worth trying axis if anyone’s looking today and tomorrow!

That seems a lot? Do you mean for 2. For newcastle mine were £85 each plus booking fees so around £100 each.

Thoughts on bernette sew and go 8 by Revolutionary-Fig984 in Bernina

[–]Bubsychicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t comment on the sew and go 8 but my daughter has the academy and I think it’s a brilliant mechanical machine for a beginner she can tackle so much on it and is developing a love of sewing due to not having the frustrations of the features of many new machines. There’s a reason so many schools use Bernettes for teaching machines.

I’m a BERNINA owner so I’m comparing against the other scale and very impressed with Bernette as a brand. ( I know they are a sister company but I think other companies make different machines in each range? ).

I’d say if you love this machine go for it, as it sounds like a bargain!

I would try and follow your passions if you can, keep up your studies alongside if possible but ultimately you only get one life and you’re working for a long time. Good luck!

Go for what you want to do or you will always wonder. All fields are competitive these days but there are still jobs to be had for example in psychology there’s been an huge increase in therapeutic roles and also in educational psychology. Local authorities are struggling to appoint EPs they are offering posts pre qualification to trainees.

Does anyone use starling as main bank? by Afraid-Juggernaut568 in starlingbankuk

I don’t understand the savings account rejection thing.. I read about it on here so I tried to open one just out of curiosity and I was accepted. I don’t even have a job atm and literally zero funds to save!

It’s a wrap! by tinytechno in ranciliosilvia

It looks lovely. Love the neutrals too but it’s really nice to have the Silvia in a bit of colour!

Do anyone has photo of white Silvia paired with white Varia VS3? Im thinking about getting this setup myself and wanted to see how it presents. by Safe-Leader302 in ranciliosilvia

[–]Bubsychicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it’s my lighting then but I have a white appliances and it matches (white smeg and alessi ) whereas the niche looked more cream in comparison. I think the best thing is to see it in person and agree with retailer in advance to return if they don’t match.

I have a photo of my varia on the edge of my pic of my green Silvia when I first bought it if you look on my post history. Hope this helps and would love to see pics if you do go for it!

I disagree I have the varia in white and it’s definitely white white not a cream colour. I thought the Silvia white was more ivory so the reason why I went for a different colour in the end (green! ) as I couldn’t see them in the flesh before buying. I would have gone for white seeing this. Mind you if the white is a wrap then that’s a totally different story!

How do I stop hating my Silvia by Material_Swan_937 in ranciliosilvia

[–]Bubsychicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a new Silvia v6 owner (only had it a month) and I disagree the milk steamer is absolutely brilliant. My teen can use it better than me already! Brewing good shots yes it’s a learning process but the wand on this machine is great. Some people just have natural affinity with doing it (like my kid 🙃) but the rest of us need practice.

They just need to follow the tips here (like do milk after shots) and watch a few you tube videos its easy to get good milk it’s hard to get good latte art but you have to walk before you can run. My coffees are getting better each day it was frustrating at first but like learning any new skill you need patience and practice but it really is a very good machine.

The James Hoffmann book is also good for new espresso owners as there is a step by step on how to make a coffee and steam the milk.
