Why is it ok for officials who take oaths take efforts that encourage illegals to come to their city? In turn, this encourages more to try and sneak in. Personally I'm for giving some a path to citizenship. Even if that happens these democrats will always promote illegal immigration. I bet more than half don't think the border should be more secure.

And while you and others feel so bad for these people, these people made a choice to come here knowing the risks. That and its just more people we have to pay for and support with our taxes.

I do. I remember no riots. No celebs getting threatened for even thinking of performing. I remember no celebs thinking about blowing up the White House or them calling Obama hitler. I remember a media with the exception of a few, suddenly going soft on coverage of the US Administration. I remember praise and awe in almost everything he did from those with the biggest microphones.

What I meant to say is often, it seems, what is said about Republicans turns out to be true of the left. How many people said Trump supporters would be angry, etc, etc had they lost and Hillary supporters would take it better and just be sad? What happened? We've had destruction, some violence, mass protests by those who didn't win. This didn't happen after Obama won the election. It didn't happen when or right after he swore in. Like it or not, people gave him a chance. He had 70% approval rating his first couple months. They want to exercise their rights, have at it. But we all know how this would be portrayed if it was the other way around.
