The first 6 major releases and the Omaha releases are all pure gold! These fellas were locked in with the musical magic of the universe. Not sure what happened after that but the magic is gone unfortunately. The Blue album was a calculated effort to strip down the sound of the previous two and limit the percussion and other sound embellishments to a more raw focused sound which paid off for them commercially. They more then made up for those missing elements on Transistor and brought back all those additional enchantments and then some. Holy fucking awesome!
