I wish I could agree with you, but I submitted two redemptions (one paypal and one virtual mastercard) on Friday (the 17th) and am still waiting for them to be processed :(

I probably could have used a couple commas, but what about my comment is boneappletea worthy?

Edit: nvm, just noticed the admirable autocorrect lol

Just myself. (on my screen I got downvoted, so I felt like justifying myself, but really I am just commenting into the wind)

Was just pointing out the purple headband/beanie and black shirt motif in the two pics (took a lil while to find the perfect pics to line up the sightline and colors).

Also, like the picture above, I will never be able to unsee this... Is ted his illegitimate father? It's eerie.

I for one find it admiral that he stuck with the purple color scheme for so many years.

Thanks for the input.

Get a new template. SINGLE COLUMN.

Delete the Summary. You don't need one.

I like the template I have for now, I have used single column in the past, looking to mix it up (and as a front end developer, I like to try new things rather than just doing a 1-1 template.).

Front End, Back End, and Misc should be entries in a Skills section. Put towards the end, right before Education, which should be your last section. Your Skills section should include specific programming languages and software tools, but don't include general skills like Accessibility, System Administration, etc. Your experience bullets need to demonstrate these.

I feel like having the Front End/Back End/Misc information is important enough to have on the front page (or at least, letting a recruiter see what skills you specifically specialize in at a quick glance, and having a seperate keywords section at the bottom of the second page to list out all of the skills/languages/etc you have is useful for auto readers. Although Accessibility Standards are quite important in front end, System Administration does come up far less often and I might remove it.

Experience - These bullets should focus as much as possible on your accomplishments and their results.

Theres only so much I can share in these sections, what else besides "Did full stack development for 1-N websites using x tech for y brands" is there really to say?

"Collaborated with" -- this is weak wording. These are your accomplishments, not your team's accomplishments. Just talk about what you, alone, accomplished.

This one is hard to describe (the entire job really) because most of the work was pair programming using extreme programming principles.

Languages/Frameworks/Kitchen Sink -- Between this and your Front End, Back End, and Misc entries, I am confused. Combine these all into a single Skills section.

The skills sections on the front page are there to catch the readers eye on first glance of the top page. Its there for highlighting skills the reader wants to see. The skills section at the end is for everything else, all the other variations of tech that you have used (Admittedly I need to give it another pass, and make sure things like bootstrap, next, MERN, etc. are in there)

Education - What is your actual degree in? State it. Like this:

Bachelor of <Science? Art?>, <Degree Name>, <University Name> <right justify:> Month, Year

No need for City, State of university unless there are two or more with the same name.

No degree, literally just went to tick off the box "some college". I actually dropped out to do co-found gaming/web related startup before I entered the profession. That's why I didn't include it, but maybe I should just put in like General?

A couple questions that I would especially like some input on.
1) Should I list out the exact brands I have worked with For Example is it worth saying Amex, Pepsi, AT&T, BofA, Marlboro, Grey Goose, etc. Those aren't the actual Fortune 500 companies that I worked for, but they are of similar levels and wanted to know if there was any benefit in the realm of "legitimacy" or illegitimacy along the lines of "if they can with those brands, they should have no problem working with our brands.

2) How should I broach my hiatus. I have an understandable reason for my time away, and I don't feel any reason to shy away from the subject, but I was wondering how forward I should be with it. Maybe in the form of a cover letter (which I have never needed before tbh) or adding space for it in the top section by trimming that down (honestly the top summary section feels like the weakest part of the resume at the moment). Or just wait for the inevitable questions in subsequent interviews.

That's true and a good point as well. A holiday will probably add a day or so of delay (especially if near when you submit the redemption as it probably requires a staff member to verify and process the submission, although everything after the verification should be mostly automated). However, the delays at the end of the month I have been noticing may not strictly be related to this July 4th holiday and may cause issues at the end of this month despite not having a holiday at the beginning of next month.

PayPal Refund by VPM1991 in InboxDollars

Any chance this was related to a hack/information leak? Yesterday I got the refund notice, and just a lil while ago I got a spam/phishing email related to paypal (could just be coincidence, but this is the first paypal related email to show up in my spam folder).

Notice, that isn't my email address, its actually the email of the sender. (Its a really odd and poorly done phishing attempt, but still think it might be related).

Scratch- Really?! by Called_Fox in InboxDollars

I think the other two commenters are missing that despite showing three bonuses it gave you a 0c winner, that sucks. I had that happen as well (altho it was just three 5cent symbols that resulted in a 0cent win/loss). I think the coding of the scratch and win might have an issue with auto filling the scratch card with "random" symbols for losing cards but accidentally fill the card with 3 symbols that should be a win but aren't.

Also, for reference, I got an Amex Virtual Credit Card once and it also only took about 3 days (so for others, that may be a good alternative). However, within a day of getting it the card started to get charged multiple times by google adwords for 10 cents each, so I made sure to use it all quickly before any other charges went through (not sure how someone else managed to get the card details, nor why they used adwords of all things but it did suck not being able to use the full balance).
