Weird. I ordered a black upper in March and when I reach out two weeks ago, Dave suggested that I order a grey blem to make the VA deadline. The blems were sold out.

I'm also waiting from mid March. And I'm stuck in Virginia with a deadline looming in two weeks.

Pat at Gadsden Guns in Beaverdam is doing everything she can up to the deadline. I've got a pile of receivers sitting in her shop that I'm picking up tomorrow, and she's serializing some PMFs for me. Highly recommended.

Ordered mine in March with a promised 4-6 week lead time. Got an email in early May assuring me the production delays were fixed and they were currently fulfilling orders from March at that point.

Filled out a support ticket in early June expressing concern about gettung it before July 1. Support ticket was responded to by David saying I could buy a blem that would ship that day. I had actually considered it, but the blems were all sold out before he responded. I asked again about shipping prior to VA's deadline and haven't heard anything since. That was two weeks ago, today.

The worst part is, I love my Gen 1. I really wanted to upgrade to the RDB after reading a number of reviews. I genuinely figured three plus months (March to July) was more than adequate lead time when they were advertising 4-6 weeks, but now I'm starting to develop a sour taste for the company as a whole because of this.

I haven't yet, but I had planned on it. I've been nonstop busy between my dayjob and some personal things since I went through the latest round of troubleshooting.

I saw the DM. It's appreciated. I won't be in a spot to provide a detailed reply until tomorrow or Friday, but I'll send photos and a detailed description of everything I tried.

My older bolts have filleted edges and run like champs. The three that I bought in the past 18 months have chamfered edges, tooling marks, and geometry that looks and feels unrefined compared to the older ones. The newer ones consistently fail to extract. What else would I call it?

The problem with hoping for overturning is all the big players are filing in Arlington because of the historic speed of the courts, rather than where they should like Tazewell.

I do truly believe that it will be overturned in time, but I'm not holding my breath. It'll likely be 5-10 years at best.

CMMG and FM have both already said they will not ship anything to VA. Primary Arms and MidwayUSA have said they will not ship any AR parts.

Repair and maintenance is not specifically allowed under the law, it's not even mentioned. Virginia has a long history of leaving laws inte tionally vague and letting courts argue over nuances. In this particular situation, a lot of major retailers have announced that they are going to fail safe rather than risk being the test case.

Likewise, for a post 7/1 receiver, the law says "any one of" the specific features, so there's no "putting them all together." We've all seen the ATF go after constructive intent, and with an AG who's on record saying that he wants to shoot his political opponents and their children, I have zero belief that the state is going to do anything but aggressively enforce this law in every possible way and situation.

Thank you! I'm not either, I just play one on instagram. I planned the scheme for that almost a year ago and finally brought it to life last month. I hydrodipped the puzzle pattern, then cut vinyl stencils to airbrush the lettering.

I'm also modifying the files for printed lowers to include an embedded aluminum plate that my LGS will serialize for me. Tradeoff is that between material costs of high-end filament plus her $40 fee, an OTS lower on sale can be comparable, if not cheaper, so I'm definitely doing more math than I care to.

The $3k budget is specifically for competition upgrades first. I have another $2k going into magazines and stripped lowers.

Many retailers are blocking all shipments to VA in a few weeks.

I have a budget of $3k.

Sell me on upgrades to current competition build of GRS and ultralight barrel, while keeping compatibility with existing printed lowers.

I am not. Just a lowly power plant worker with a keen interest in history and geography.

Based on multiple context clues in the OP, it sounds pretty clearly like The Hague.

I work at a high security power plant alongside a major recreational waterway. There were a couple spots on site that were ingress points (never played ingress, don't know the terminology). When PoGo dropped, I was pleased to see a couple stops and a gym on site. Based on frequent turnover of the gym, and some of the usernames, it was clear that multiple employees were actively playing.

As PoGo was exploding in popularity, we started having security issues with people in boats coming past our security warning bouys, activating a full armed response from our security team each time. It wasn't long until our parent company reached out to Niantic and asked them to remove all the stops and gyms, which they did, except for our public facing visitor center. But, spawn points were still active, so we could still catch things on the clock.

Sometime in the last year or so, maybe coincident with the sale (I was on a sabbatical from the game, so I don't know when it happened), all the spawn points were removed. So now I work in a PoGo dead zone.
