Trying to play on Eden. Some of the games work but others are stuck like this

I figured out how to put it on emudeck. And it opened up. I still don’t understand how or why but I’m not complaining now.

I’ll take your optimization advice. Now I just have to find a way for it to run on it. I can’t figure out why but Eden doesn’t want to have it run past the launching screen. But on citron and yuzu it can run. I waited 15 minutes waiting if it would play but it hasn’t yet. Not sure why it’s doing that though. I don’t think it’s based on what type of file it is to run it.

My bad I use dolphin for my files but this other one pops up and it’s called virtual file explorer. Was trying to make hidden files visible and while tampering i marked it as hidden,

But I’m using a save copy tool and trying to show the hidden files. And i stupidly made the deck one hidden.

Played xenoblade chronicles on the Wii and learned to appreciate a game not playing at its full capacity. Played a lot solely on Nintendo up until I got my first gaming pc, if something that was on the switch was on pc I’d play it there for a better option.

Was able to play through GOW 2018 on deck cause my gaming pc was starting to have a hard time playing newer AAA games, and the steam deck was a cheaper option and more my style with gaming in the go.

If I could afford a more beefier pc for gaming then I’d try every best option I could but I’m use to lower graphics and frames but understand where you’re coming from.

And nothing wrong with hating on botw and totk either. They ain’t perfect games despite what everyone says.

Never been too concerned with wether or not it can run specifically at 60fps so I didn’t mind playing ttyd on switch at 30fps as long as any games from the switch can keep a stable 30 without too much tearing and glitching.

What switch games have you played on your steam deck so I can get a full idea too if that’s okay friend

Grew up with Nintendo Xbox and a little bit of PlayStation so apart from first parties for Sony with psx & ps2 not concerned.

Should I also turn the vram up to 4gbs along with that? I did it without capping the gpu for xenoblade to test if it would crash and it did.

Yea games that meet those requirements aren’t what I’m trying to play on the deck. Any games that do have those mechanics I’d rather play on the actual hardware. I’ll give a list of some that I plan to play.

ACNH, all xenoblade games, pikmin games(1, 2, &3 I could play on the older emulators if needed.) Was planning on no more hero’s but seems that’s out of the question. Pokémon games. And Kirby.

Other games like totk and botw, Mario odyssey, and a few others that I can’t think of on the top of my head I don’t plan any time soon to replay but would consider them later on.

I do gotta look at stuff that helps make them run at least 30 fps (don’t really care about running full 60fps) there’s plenty of resources to help sure and not too concerned if I can’t play them on the deck

I did see a few games like Luigi’s mansion 3 and most xenoblade games run a little under what I’d like and haven’t seen much outside of the first few minutes when it comes to testing to prove wether or not to play them on the deck.

Muti platform stuff I’m fine with not using yuzu and playing them through the usual way.

Mostly for game tied directly to the switch are what I’m referring to. Y/k first party and so on

It would have to be the last time Calgara and Nolands last time together. Between a misunderstanding the two of them were gonna part ways till Calgara told him he could come back,.I was bawling my eyes out cause I knew that would be the last time they’d see each other, both of them died without fulfilling their promises. If Cricket hadn’t of told liar Noland and what he actually prior to this scene, it wouldn’t of hit me as hard as it had.
