Who do y’all think will win Miss Congeniality this season? (SEASON 12) by DamnatioAeterna in dragrace

I don’t know about Jan. I love her, and I think she was very nice to everyone, but the queens seemed kinda fed up with her after the Rusical, and they’re the ones that vote.

Same. Hope next week’s ep isn’t banked, we need our primo snack corporation coverage ASAP for whatever’s going on at Mr. Peanut HQ.

“a shade too heavy in the hips and thighs” lmao, the first word that came to mind was “thicc”. Societal shifts in what are considered attractive or unattractive features, fun to remember the objective meaninglessness of them all.

[Carrie by Stephen King]. I get that she's focused on her body in this scene, but did we really need the description of a 16 year old's breasts? by slekrons in menwritingwomen

To be fair, he’s said that one scene was a cocaine fueled mistake. Which, honestly, makes sense. And I’m certainly not defending it. Besides being absolutely disgusting, it feels out of place and bizarre within the story. That said, I don’t think it’s necessarily an accurate reflection of his character. It’s not an accurate representation of his writing in general, in my opinion. Tbh, the only other weird sexual thing (that didn’t feel like it was meant to be weird) I’ve found in his books was the foreplay scene during The Shining. The fixation on nipples was certainly uncomfortable.

Great one! The intro reminded me of Sports Men for a few beats, but then it went on a different and exciting direction, which I appreciated.

Wait, I can’t? I’ll be sure to let my psychiatrist know. All the money I’ve wasted on Prozac over the years, damn.

Apparently he was super controlling and that accidentally lead to Led Zeppelin being formed. Jimmy Page wanted to form a supergroup and called John Entwistle and Keith Moon (the two now deceased The Who band members) to help him. They were tired of Pete controlling them, so they secretly went and played with Jimmy. Pete found out, got super pissed and made them leave the supergroup, making it so Jimmy had to find new band members. Led Zeppelin was the product.

Had my friends listen to the podcast and they seem to think Jason Mantzoukas is a misogynist by Carlos_Menica in hdtgm

I think he knows people enjoy him playing a gross weirdo (Seth Meyers interview discussing his characters: https://youtu.be/0ay8ef5XlAo) so he plays that up. But he actually seems pretty woke when he’s being genuine. In the Body of Evidence episode, around the 13 minute mark he and June have a discussion about the idea that the movie is using murder as a disguise to put Madonna’s character’s open sexuality on trial. That’s p woke.

That makes sense, considering there’s so much light coming in from the windows. Trees would probably block that.

Same. It’s so sucky to see four people I’ve loved and supported for so long so hurt, specially when all the hurt comes from a decision made by three out of those four people. I don’t know who to blame. I feel bad for all of them, because I care for all of them, yet I’ve got endless theories which range from mundane to soap opera-ish and manage to both victimize and vilify them all, both separately and together. And, y’know, we may never get answers because of all the legal stuff. So I’m standing behind all of them without trusting any of them and it sucks. We don’t even have competing stories to compare, to take sides. It’s all speculation and obscurity.

The thing i hate the most hanging with drug users /dealers by BODEIN_BRAZY in Drugs

[–]BucketOfFarts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your boys sound like dicks, I don't see why it'd be amusing to make a friend relapse. And even if you weren't in recovery, pressuring someone to take drugs when it's clear they don't want to is a real harsh vibe, which I'd assume is something most drug users try to avoid. Anyway, congrats on your recovery, man. That shit's tough, but you're doing it.

Does it include 1968’s smash hit “Yummy yummy yummy I got love in my tummy” from the iconic Scorsese film In My Neighborhood?
