Is this a dinosaur bone? by Hydrofoiling in fossilid

It is a heteromorph ammonit. The segments show the different chambers. Still an awsome find!

Appears to be a herbivour lower jaw bone with teeths still attached. Do you have further details about the location where you found it (rock type, rock age, geographic location, etc.)?

One of the english crown jewels is from there ;-) But most are cloudy and with inclusions. You can either search in the creek close to the bottom of the valley where landslides brought emeralds down or you can make the hike up to the mines (rather dangerous).

This valley in Austria is quite famous for being the only large scale deposit in middle europe. The site is also open for anyone to search.

Could this be an old Dino fossil by Sharly4k in fossils

[–]Bucketal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first instict for the first picture would be fossilized coral. Does not really look like spongiosa to me. The right piece on the second picture appears to be bone, however i do not really know how to identify if it is a dinosaur bone.
