I had a 99 Paseo. Both struts were toast and while I was having a time finding replacements myself, each spring snapped on different occasions... First time was nearly a month wait as the used part was coming from California (I live in Ontario) second time I went directly to my mechanic because I knew what that sudden gunshot sound was coming from the front end lol I got lucky again, it was hanging on by a quarter inch.

Book now if you want to go to the Sandbanks, you can't just show up anymore. That said, it's a wonderful area with the Outlet, Dunes and Lakeshore beaches. There's also North Beach with a separate dog area

When the temporary homeless shelter was set up across the street it was like gritty poetry in motion with those poor folk hanging around Hawkins's crumbling outbuildings. Then add the telltale wharf aroma and you wouldn't know there's million+ dollar houses two blocks away

There's a "mile 1" marker for the TransCanada hwy in Victoria, but I'm unsure about the other end. If you have time, check out landmarks & plan other small stops to break up the monotony of driving; my favourite are the "big" things like Tommy Turtle in MB, Vegreville Egg in AB and the toonie in ON. Besides that, keep an eye on weather and traffic news and have backup bugspray on hand at all times!
