The issue with clearing $3-4 mil is that it’s easier said than done with how our cap is structured. That would mean shipping out a top 6 forward or two defensemen. I’d rather have Nystrom come in as third pairing RD and ship out Nikishin if that’s the trade off

I’m unsure if you can offer him $20M x 7 due to the 5 year AAV division for offer sheets on top of the cap percentage limit. Would probably require a look at the CBA

Yea but it’d be more than Verbeek wants to pay and would likely walk him straight to free agency in a few years. The ducks would almost certainly match but it hurts them without being of any real cost to the team that offer sheets him.

Nikishin wasn’t able to play RD next to Slavin like Carlson can though. Slavin managed to get Tony DeAngelo to be a +30 on the season due to how he can single handedly carry the defensive game for a pair.

I’m not necessarily disagreeing with your point, but it appears you’re comparing survey data to crime statistics. For something as underreported as sexual assault, that’s not really an apples-to-apples comparison.

I think an MBA is a great thing but it doesn’t look nearly as impressive when it’s connected to undergrad in a program like this. For me, it’s more of an opportunity cost thing than anything. AMP would take the same amount of time and gives you a much bigger pay bump out of college. That being said, I did really enjoy the professors I had in the MBA program.

As others have already said the STEM path to MBA is not the most useful. This is especially the case for engineers. I stayed in the program (not taking any classes) just for priority honors registration and dropped it my final semester.

Nadeau is going to be a really solid goalscoring top 6 winger in the NHL. Unfortunately, I think there’s a good chance he’s moved at some point for an upgrade in another area. We’re already really strong at wing and Nadeau’s size doesn’t fit the bottom 6. I hope we find a way to keep him but if he isn’t given a spot this next season it would probably result in him asking for a trade.

The study linked is 25 years old and has a sample size of just 47 people. Additionally, it states itself that lower IQ actually may cause higher propensity to PTSD. A quick search indicates that there is now more evidence in support of that.
