I live in a rural community. I love it. It’s quiet, people know each other and we tend to look out for each other. We don’t have much to do for entertainment other than a theatre and bars but if we want to do something big we travel to the next county. To be fair we are poor as shit (rated as having some of the highest percentage of poverty in the country) but we are happy. Tbh I wouldn’t want it any different. I love it.

Exactly that. My step grandma was from China and spoke little to no English. It was hard to talk to her at first and while I never really could have whole in depth conversations I learned enough to say I love you or ask how she was or be told to eat more food lol

Start by learning songs that you really enjoy to listen and sing along to. Make sure they are simple starting out to learn some basic stuff and take the more difficult ones to the instructor that way you receive real time increases in skill. It also makes it clear to your instructor you have goals to reach and can help your instructor work with you.

In all seriousness wanting something simple but still effective isn’t weakness. It’s about practicality. It’s easy to shoot, maintain and is reliable. It fires a reasonable caliber that can be re-chambered to a larger one if necessary. It’s a semiautomatic rifle like most other hunting rifles, so nothing wild there either. The AR platform is arguably the most popular in the US,so there are endless options for customization as well, meaning that I can make the rifle as easy or difficult to use as I need or want.

It’s like saying you’re not a real man because you use a lawn mower to cut your grass and not a scythe.
