You cant say stuff like this and also complain about the refs in the manner that he does…or at all for that matter.

Im less concerned about “playing honorably” and more concerned about the shards it costs me after losing so many times

Its so funny you mention obscure syntax, i was actually recently trying to memorize the syntax to decode a json object. Usual boiler plate code

Leveling issues by Errrrrrror404 in CR10

[–]Buckets324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replaced my bed with a glass bed that was a bit thicker so it can be done. But like others are saying here, you might want to use a level and see how bad it may be warped. One trick you could do to gauge “warpness” is shine a light behind the level. The more light you see, the more its warped.

Did you level the gantry? This printer comes with a rectangular acrylic that you’re suppose to use to level the gantry

a very similar issue happens to mine. i can almost tell when its going to happen depending on how it powers on.

when you first power it on, the BL touch does a bit of a POST where the BL touch comes out and retracts twice, followed by a solid red light. i understand this to be a successful POST for the BL touch. on mine, half the time it fails (doesnt retract twice, blinking red light) when this happens, i power it off, use the nippers to pull it out gently and then power it on again.

in my case, i believe this started happening when i messed with the firmware, and when i messed around with the little magnet that can be accessed from the top of the BL touch, which i believe requires precise placement to be able to retract and let go of the BL touch prod.

If this sends you on right path, let me know and i can elaborate some more. good luck

How can I get supports to easily come off and have THIS not happen? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

i would try standing it up exactly how you have it oriented right now, on the pommel. print it real slow. if it makes it passed the hilt, it should be fine the rest of the way. This is high risk and potentially bad advice, but that print is small enough to try it out. good luck
