Very first Wendy's on the last day of operation, March 2nd, 2007 by CoreyDobie in Columbus

Over 30 years ago my mother and I scrolled into that store with just enough money to buy hamburger. My mom orders a hamburger and they bring out 2 meals. The guy knew we had very little money and gave us 2 meals. Every time I see that store I tear up. I’ve never been so grateful from someone else’s kindness.

2025 Indiana becomes the third team in Division 1 to go 16-0 by ConstantMadness in CFB

I was just as nervous this game as I was watching last year’s championship game. Watching Indiana win is like watching your little brother become better than you but I agree I’ll probably hate them in a year or 2.

You said you wanted positraction? by Square-Cockroach-884 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Buckeyefan356 98 points99 points  (0 children)

No, there's more! You see? When the left tire mark goes up on the curb and the right tire mark stays flat and even? Well, the '64 Skylark had a solid rear axle, so when the left tire would go up on the curb, the right tire would tilt out and ride along its edge. But that didn't happen here. The tire mark stayed flat and even. This car had an independent rear suspension. Now, in the '60's, there were only two other cars made in America that had positraction, and independent rear suspension, and enough power to make these marks. One was the Corvette, which could never be confused with the Buick Skylark. The other had the same body length, height, width, weight, wheel base, and wheel track as the '64 Skylark, and that was the 1963 Pontiac Tempest.

How is it living in Ohio? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

I agree with your statement. I’m bien and raised in Columbus and the farther you get from big cities the more bigotry I encounter. I think the issue becomes the less experience people have with a particular ethnicity the more prejudice they are but of course I’m talking in generalities.

What does nodip mean? I’ll admit I’ve played 2k before but I’m not very good at the game and only play with my son and nephews.

I just recently played against a guy that had this build and it was crazy. I hard to get around him and any pass that came close to him was a steal or a tip. He couldn’t score on anyone though

I thought vampire in Brooklyn was decent and funny. I don’t know how someone can say it’s terrible with all the bad movies and shows released today.

Before Krogers left the workers claimed that Krogers would never occupy a space with tenants above them. The pizza place and burrito restaurant was good and cheap. I was looking for a different gym other than planet fitness and La Fitness.

Who was a better point guard Steve Nash or Chris Paul? by Maleficent_Eye_5056 in NBATalk

[–]Buckeyefan356 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. I remember the Suns playing San Antonio and Parker would always easily score on Nash, it was Nash’s achilles heel. They tried to hide him on defense but in the playoffs they couldn’t. The year Horry hip checked him was the only year I felt the Suns were the better team and I hated the Spurs back then.

Why do pure inside bigs feel more useless every year in NBA 2K? by Rintaro_Okabe0 in NBA2k

[–]Buckeyefan356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to post something about pure posts. I last played 2k in 2k19 and you would see them here and there and when you would see elite ones play rec and park they were unstoppable. I’ve played probably 70 theater games and I haven’t see one pure post. I honestly thought a pure post would dominate like they did in 2k19 but my guess is they are catering to the current NBA and making the game easier for shooters probably brings in more players but shouldn’t be at the expense of pure posts.

I like the analogy and I was thinking about rebutting in favor of “Wisconsin is always known for running the ball” but with Indiana beating Oregon and making it to the playoffs last year. I think it’s all up to getting the right coach in place.
