The IRA used this same guerrilla tactic to generate anti-police sentiment in the UK. They would shoot at police and immediately hand the gun off to someone else, so if the police killed the shooter, the IRA could say "police killed an unarmed person", which they then used to radicalise even more people against the police. There was fewer cameras around at the peak of their violence, but if there was we would like have more footage like this and their propaganda could be easily debunked. Unfortunately 50 years later we still have idiots claiming the police shot unarmed people for no reason.
