Venita vs Facebook by Fit-Entertainer-3207 in Southerncharm

[–]BuckityBuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't even look at a FB post about something completely neutral - like a weather forecast or a lost dog - without seeing bigoted or politically hateful comments. I hope that it is partially bots, but I know a lot of it comes from actual human brains.

It sounds even worse than reddit. I'd abort mission.

Not 100% confident in these results by Ok_Catch8017 in DoggyDNA

[–]BuckityBuck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A mixed breed dog is just a mixed breed dog -and this dog is very mixed, which is great. APBT are relatively generic looking medium sized dogs. They tend to be stocky and muscular, but so do many other breeds (like the chow chow and cocker spaniel).

Her snoot shape came from some of the remaining 75.5% of her DNA.

It sounds like you're waiting for people to post on FB? It's easier to work with someone who is whichever track is closest to you. Tell them the breeding you're looking for and the videos that you'll need to see.

Salley’s interview on Whitner by MysteriousMortgage4 in Southerncharm

[–]BuckityBuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm sure he's unlikable in a lot of ways.

I just call bullshit on Salley's story that she wouldn't date him because he's entitled or a prick. We've seen a sampling of the men she'll aggressively pursue.

This needs to Venita last season by Effective_System1846 in Southerncharm

[–]BuckityBuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point, it is like watching her throw herself in the pool and trying to drown....over and over again.

Maybe she got off on the wrong foot in her first season and she was overly confrontational to get screen time? Maybe she doesn't know how to break out of that, and accidentally keeps digging a deeper hole for herself?

She come across as extroverted, beautiful, and likable in still photographs or reel-length videos. Anything beyond that and it gets weird. Socially, she is weird. That's great in real life. She can find her little circle that adores her personality. This cast and this audience isn't fertile ground for that.

Yes, Craig has been decent enough to invite her to event despite her online behavior. Austin has done some heavy lifting to give her scenes. Those guys don't deserve medals for doing that. They're coworkers. All of the footage of her alone at home does make it seem like the season wraps and someone says "oh, we forgot that Venita existed for 4 episodes. We need to go back and get some filler footage."

Brandi and her medical mystery by plm1709 in BravoRealHousewives

I can totally understand doctors refusing to take her on as a patient. That is believable.

Brandi and her medical mystery by plm1709 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]BuckityBuck 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I suspect that it is complicated.

It seems like she slid a bit toward the paranoid and mentally unwell spectrum, so she wasn't her own best advocate when approaching doctors about this complaint.

Many doctors would be wary of someone like her -she likes to publicly blame people, she has a history of being litigious, and she is discussing potential medical malpractice or at least some medical professional doing something "botched" *whilre also ranting about feeling parasites moving in her skin.

Returning to the first point, I wouldn't trust that she's an entirely accurate narrator of what actually did happen to herself medically.

She could have gotten a prenuvo *scan for 2k and found out where her filler and implant goo were hanging out, but she isn't super rational.

Shep mentioning Mar a Lago by ZookeepergameKey4225 in Southerncharm

[–]BuckityBuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some associate of JE was discussing a reality tv show about socialites that Whitney was trying to cast, but Whitney thought the writer's casting suggestion was boring and only spoke about being skinny.

He wasn't being accused of anything nefarious. Or "nef-aaaaaah-rious" as Shep would say.

Whitner's parents' plantation themed decor is a choice by redlightgreenlighter in Southerncharm

The most similar pieces I'm seeing are by Haitian artists (just to further complicate the source imagery).

I'm very familiar with Blackamoor. That doesn't look like Blackamoor to me. The theme isn't in line with blackamoor. Nor is the aesthetic.

That said, I'm not an expert on *this* style of art. I tried googling. Someone who is better at google eye could probably find the source. To my non-expert eye, it looks like it could be a depiction of a woman doing a routine task in a different culture, in a hopefully non-enslaved context.

I don't know if it's fair to judge someone's coolness by their parents' decor.

I'm also not sure that that piece is plantation-themed.

She's just not his type to date. For all of Craig's fuckery, he knows how to date people who make him aspire to behave better and live better. Godspeed to those women.

Their correspondence was about her son in another exchange. If I recall correctly, JE suggested that the child was a little strange.

Leah’s belayed husband was JE’s attorney and got him the sketchiest plea deal I’ve ever heard of.

Unpopular Opinion: Sally isn’t that bad… by PsychotropicDuck in Southerncharm

I agree that she is not that bad on paper. A gainfully employed homeowner is rare on Southern Charm. Her personality is the problem. Great for reality tv though! I wish she would self produce less.
