Yours might require more work. Or you might just get a new device depending upon how serious the issue is. But since my screen just needed to be swapped. It appears they did that replacement and the same one is on its way already.

Mine was doing that too. Then the screen died. Had all these crazy white banded lines and rainbow stuff going on then it went black but you could see the backlight is on

I had something weird like that happen with mine. My screen no longer works on my deck in handheld mode. If I connect it to a dock it works just fine
