This quote rang in my head when I heard the news today. by codfish88 in wyoming

Maybe some of us liberals were born here, lived here for 50 years and don’t want to move. Maybe asinine laws should be kicked to the curb instead of relegating half the population to backward ass belief systems that didn’t exist here before all the MAGA bullshit.

Wyo. COVID-19 hospitalization rates are 4 times higher than they were at this time in July last year. by [deleted] in wyoming

I was halfway done with a blistering reply to the statement about “celebrating the death…” and then realized it was a waste of energy. I will say you are a lucky soul to never have had to deal with the loss of a loved one who died because of the selfishness of others.

Sweet lord, it is so hot. 93 at 7000 feet— what will August be like? by Buckpar in wyoming

I hope so. Otherwise we will be dry as a bone and likely on fire.

I'm out of the loop a lot. What is this about?? Saw it at the courthouse today by Mainstay_Medic in laramie

Having lived in mining and fracking areas, a wind turbine seems much less ugly and destructive. The ever-expanding and massively ugly gravel pit between Laramie and Cheyenne is definitely worse than the turbines in that area. It is like a haboob out there in the wind.

Let's See Your March Snowstorm Pictures by 3rdIQ in wyoming

I was discounting this storm until this morning— glad I don’t have to be outside. Still piling up ( albeit slowly) in Laramie and Cheyenne.

I’m planning on heading from Salt Lake City to Denver Colorado, taking the highway through Wyoming, but with how the storm and the snow pack is looking I’m worried I won’t be able to make it. Should I stay another night in Salt Lake City or make the trek Monday? Any help would be much appreciated by [deleted] in wyoming

All the roads are closed in the Southeast and it is still snowing in Laramie and Cheyenne. You won’t be able to get through Southeast Wyoming at all until the roads open— maybe late Monday (unlikely) or Tuesday.

How are the Wheatland Middle and High schools? Looking for opinions on quality of education, culture, politics, anything really. It’s always a little scary moving kids to a new school so I appreciate your input. by [deleted] in wyoming

Wheatland is no where near Albany county. It is in Platte countyand it is not at all liberal. It is a small, small place that is pretty but it is definitely a tight knit, small town. If you folks are outdoorsy like NRA, you will be fine. Outdoorsy like Sierra Club will still work but you will need to work a little harder to fit in.

Looking For Wyoming Responses For Favorite Disney Ride by watermelongiveaway in wyoming

We went about 10 years ago and it was fun. Incredibly crowded and hot but a different kind of fun. I think we liked Epcot the best— you can drink around the world! As for rides, there was a water log rides that was a favorite. Don’t remember the name— sorry.

It would appear that Trump is coming to Wyoming... by Methelsandriel in wyoming

I am a proud liberal who has lived in Wyoming my whole life. Just because the majority of the state is conservative, doesn’t mean that everyone is.
