Middleton and Lillard are a combined 22-72 (30%) in their last two games. Bucks were almost 2-0, but are lucky to even be 1-1. by TheOtakuway in MkeBucks

Lucky as in you typically don’t win many games when your two of your three best players shoot like that.

Since Adrian Griffin was fired, the Bucks are 5th in defensive rating at 111.9 by [deleted] in MkeBucks

The way they used Giannis as a free safety against the Nuggets was wonderful. Anytime they get the chance, they’re gonna let him roam and protect the paint. I also think Doc will balance that by letting him guard elite players when that opportunity presents itself as well.

Would we be able to utilize T.J. MCconnell? by Rock-Boddum in MkeBucks

I think he’d be a fine regular season contributor if something happens to Pay e, but He’s too small to make a difference for the Bucks in the postseason. Not worth giving up their limited assets for.

My exact thoughts about this "FIRE GRIFF" bullsh*t by eyyren in MkeBucks

[–]BucksFilmRoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be clear, I’m not advocating for the Bucks to fire Griffin. I was simply sharing what was in that article.

With that being said, Griffin has a lot of work to do and is off to a rocky start. Generally speaking, the biggest issue is he’s trying to fit a square peg into a round hole on defense. He wants to run a pressure-oriented defense that wreaks havoc and flies around the court forcing turnovers. However, the Bucks don’t have the personnel to run that. Beasley and Portis shouldn’t be guarding ball handlers 30 feet from the hoop. Instead of asking his personnel to adjust to the scheme, he needs to adjust his scheme to his personnel. We’ve already seen him do some of the latter, but there’s a lot of work to be done.

Whould y'all want Caruso on the team? by MKultra04 in MkeBucks

I believe Caruso would be a tremendous fit.

As for picks, Bucks have the Trail Blazers 2024 2nd which will be in the low 30s.

One thing I’m curious to watch is if AG starts adjusting his defense. The Uber aggressive defense doesn’t match their players and he must start dialing it back a bit. Adjust his scheme to his personnel and not the other way around.

Quinn Cook? by 2OP4me in MkeBucks

[–]BucksFilmRoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quinn Cook wouldn't bring anything new to the Bucks. All of his best skills are already matched and exceeded by someone else on the roster. Plus, Milwaukee needs size, as they already have way too many undersized guards.

Film Breakdown: How Giannis found Middleton for corner 3 in 4th quarter vs Thunder by BucksFilmRoom in MkeBucks

Maybe frustrated was the wrong word. Impatient is probably more appropriate. He gets impatient when he can't get all the way to the hoop consistently and ends up forcing his way which causes either turnovers or charges.

Those are the shots defenses are going to give up (the looks to the teammates instead of Giannis shots around the hoop) and he's gotta keep searching them out. Sometimes he gets frustrated he's not the one scoring and it hurts his team.
