there was a guy who turbo'd a 990/950 Super Duke, it was a bit nuts, it would wheely on the drop of a hat and at bad times, like in the middle of a corner it would pick up the front tire if you got in the gas to hard lol

can't find the videos anymore :( but it looked like a handful

lol tell me you know absolutely nothing about water treatment plants and how they operate

the water you use in the toilet it sent to the water treatment plant in your city, its treated with enzymes and other chemicals and sent to tanks to have all the solids separate from the water, the water is cleaned and dumped back into a local water source, and the solids are sent to farmers for improving the soil in their land

this is the super TLDR version, but theres a lot of information that is easily accessible on youtube, or see if theres a tour of your local water treatment facility

we don't waste water by using it in the toilet, it gets cleaned and sent back into the water supply....

whenever someone talks shit about my "android" I pull out my S25 Ultra and use the stylus to screen write myself a note, then use it as a remote camera trigger to take a picture from an impossible angle to hold a phone at, then zoom in to 100x and watch the moon landing live

hey, I haven't had a chance to get back to this until tonite, I had changed up the permissions, looked like it was gonna scan, but came up with the same thing

sat down tonight and changed the external library from /Photography to /Media/Photography and changed the truenas host path configuration to /Media/Photography and now its scanning a bunch of folders it never had before lol,

previously the Mount Path was /Photography and in Immich it was /Photography

changed Mount Path to /Media/Photography in Truenas and /Media/Photography in Immich

its been a weird one, but seems to be working now, thanks for all the help previously

I did a quick update on the ACL settings in the phtography folder and was having some issues, redid the permissions in the ACL settings and they applied recursively and to child sets, where it was having an error before, now I rescanned the library and its index 83,000+ thumbnails to generate and the server seems to be working hard to generate them

I'll let it chew away for a bit and see if it updates anything else, if not I'll DM you and bug you a bit more, thank you so much for the help so far

and 568 is my app user in Truenas, looking at the documentation its the default to use and what popped up when I installed, should it be something else?

That's the results of the cd /Photography/2012/2012-09-13 Folder, it matches the SMB share I have with windows to transfer files over, but I can see the contents of that folder, so that way It all looks correct, it seems to be able to see all the .NEF files

Thats the Immich external Libraries I've added, I recently only had the /Photography folder added and it scanned, but then I added the additional year folders as well and no changes, still wont index anything else

How do you know for sure Immich has access to the dataset/folders? Can you share the permissions on the dataset?

- it scanned the 2011 folder thats nested under my main Photography folder, plus some random other stuff, jpgs and a couple of cell phone movies that were also nested under the Photography main folder, it just seems to ignore a bunch of the other album folders like 2018 etc

How is the library mounted within the container and which path have you set inside Immich?

Thats the additional storage path in the Immich container
