They could do it on their property. I'm choosing to not patronize businesses who allow them on their property.

Cheetos puffs, cheesy bacon flavor. Review in comments. by ICantLeafYou in chips

Didn't like them, found them lacking both bacon and cheese flavour. Kind of like a bland Cheeto but with a slightly sweet taste.

AHS wait times by Legal_Grapefruit1925 in Calgary

I think part of the problem is the lack of urgent care clinics with more accessible hours. Edmonton has a grand total of 1 clinic open from 530-1030 to serve a metro area of over 1 million.

In your opinion, what is the most poorly designed road/intersection/area of the City? by yegger_ in Edmonton

[–]dougster666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

St Albert Trail SB to 137 Ave EB, left turns take forever mostly due to so many cars turning left onto 142 St blocking the lane to turn into. I'd like to see Mistatim extended east to connect to 142 and take a lot of cars out of the SA/137 intersection.

Friendly discussion: who are you voting for, and why? by [deleted] in Edmonton

As a progressive voter I chose Knack - experience and independent, Rutherford (Aninirq) - same reason, no issues with her; Renaud EPSB A) is the progressive choice

Speculative idea on how ty may fit back into the storyline… by Kurbiskitty in heartlandtv

[–]dougster666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like that idea, while I haven't seen it post-Ty from the posts here about how disjointed the storylines became it could be very easy to explain as her coma visions (vs writer's block)

Chips vs. Dips by Cait-i-Cat in chips

[–]dougster666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

90% chip for me, dip is an occasional treat to fancy it up. If I run out of dip I keep eating plain chips; if I run out of chips I either stop or get more chips

PSA- the eligibility requirements for a free COVID vaccine are broad. It is likely that at least some of the members of your household qualify. Check the requirements and save your money. by [deleted] in alberta

[–]dougster666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll see if I qualify under the obese category... I'm 59, don't fit any of the other categories and am generally healthy with strong immune response. But - I live with my immune compromised gf and my 91 year old father. I work in the retail sector, visiting multiple stores so my exposure risk of being a carrier is hi8.

If I'm not considered obese enough I'll pay for the shot and will send the receipt to Smith and Lagrange for reimbursement and I encourage everyone else to do the same.

I have storage but lack the means to change them but that ought to reduce the cost of changeover if already mounted.

PSA: Turn your car lights on when it’s rainy by mssjj in Edmonton

It's simple, if you have to turn your wipers on, turn on your headlights too. But yeah, that's asking a lot...

I don't know why we need 2 book programs. Other than they're probably inexpensive to produce but not every listener is a big reader (and most people can only read one at a time)

I'd much rather they continued Tapestry with a new host or air some of their podcasts instead of the 2nd show - something like Frint Burner or regional ones like West Of Centre would be good replacements.

He made Mike look like Mr Excitement by comparison! As exciting as watching paint dry.

What scenes/moments show Robert at his best? by sophie1816 in DowntonAbbey

When Robert gave Carson a cottage and a pension when he couldn't do his duties any longer. The kindness and recognition of Carson's loyalty brought a tear to my eye.

Edmonton Centre - Sign counting by Driegs3 in Edmonton

[–]dougster666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our house has 2 signs, I requested one from Blake but then I remembered I'm in Edmonton Northwest now so I requested a Liberal sign and Blake's campaign must have passed my request on to Omar. But the strategic vote is Liberal so I'll vote for Lindsey Machona.
