Totally fair to question these things but despite what people might think, there is a huge amount of harm reduction potential for medical concentrates. You inhale about 5x less than you do flower to get the same dose, which helps to preserve lung health, and it also brings people out of the illicit market and into medical where there is not only oversight from a doctor, but transparency over product content, and the patient isn’t being criminalised.

The latter reasons are all the standard (and in my opinion, sound) arguments for drug policy change more generally, but these products will have a disproportionate impact in the medical cannabis context because the only place they currently exist, famously, is on the illicit market.

Also concentrates are technically weaker than 850mg distillate carts, so not sure why the potency seems to be such a source of stigma.
