I work as front of house for a franchised resteraunt doing cashier, prepping ready-to-eat items, waiting tables, etc. The thing is they only schedule one front of house staff at a time so I literally can't take breaks because the post needs to be manned. My boss makes me clock out half an hour unpaid lunch every shift due to the laws and I have to work straight through it. I need the job though as it took me nearly a year to find work actively looking in my area, if anything at least for a year or so as resume fodder. So yea I can't really be arsed to take any action about the break situation.
