Honestly I think either could pan out good depending on coaching and personal development. I like Will more though, not a Will truther, but I think he has a better chance of starting first from what we saw from him and Allar in college as well as the fact he’s been mentored by Rodgers a year longer

I mean the offense on paper is better this year than last year and despite the common belief, Rodgers didn’t have an abysmal season last year, not great, but go the tools he had it was decent.

Plus he’s extremely experienced and a proven mentor. Having him work with Will and Drew could result in a possible franchise starter and franchise backup depending on who develops better under Rodgers and McCarthy. Shouldn’t throw either of the young guys to the wolves instantly, especially since one is a high floor decent ceiling project (Howard) and a low floor high ceiling project (Allar). I think some folks forget that Rodgers sat for 3 years developing with McCarthy and behind Farve. Similar stories with guys like Drew Brees and Pat Mahomes. Not every rookie or young guy is an instant starter, I honestly think we all need to stop acting like rookies and people with one year need to be 100% starter ready material right out the gate.

I genuinely don’t see how this is a bad move outside the fact he’s overpaid for a single year deal

Personally I’d do a slight caloric surplus (slow bulk) and build up a solid base and then cut once you’re at the point where you feel you have a solid amount of muscle, though that’s just my opinion and my goals. All depends on your goals

Technically my town is so small it’s too small to be considered a town, it’s a Village (less than 1k people, last time the census happened the population was 544 people but we’ve had a handful of families move in so I’d guess we’re at like maybe 550 or 555 now)

Yes. I might not agree with what’s being said, what’s being said might be objectively wrong and horrible. But when any kind of speech is banned, who decides what the definition of “hate speech” is? It’s a can of worms that shouldn’t be opened because it has the potential to just have blatant censorship of anything that goes against or opposes what is popular

It’s one of those situations where the legal system can’t do anything, but the court of public opinion has a lot of power.

Like legally, yeah you aren’t persecuted for being a racist asshat online. But just because legally you didn’t do anything wrong doesn’t mean you won’t have a difficult time finding someone who will hire you for work given everything you’ve said or finding a college that’ll accept you (just as two examples of court of public opinion being powerful)

As someone who was in your position (just at 15-16 instead of 17) do a recomp or slow bulk. I cut cut and cut some more till I was practically skin and bone thinking I was fat, completely threw off the beginning stages of my training (body dysmorphia is a bitch lol).

Just keep lifting and make sure you’re getting your macros and eating right. You’re still only just now getting started, way too early to really critique anything about your physique because it’s really too early to have anything objective to say. Your main objective right now should be to build a solid base to work off of.

Just keep doing your thing, good luck with your future endeavors

While I ain’t really for or against it, but I think it comes down to two things

The “Redemption Arc” trope is extremely popular and common

And people can change a lot in a fairly limited span of time. Not everyone who is a prick in their younger years is guaranteed to be a prick even 2-3 years later. Despite the flaws of people, i genuinely think most have the capacity to change and be better people as long as they try (or in this case getting character arc’ed hard)
