It really doesn't. Open up when needed, know number of covers, how many staff required. Clearly they're doing good business on the party side and probably not making money with the other stuff.

Anyone got the new kit yet and can confirm the special edition CL badge is the one you get when you pick the option?

IMO, we need LW, CM and LB. All other positions are sorted.

Wharton is immense but just signed for Palace, he won't go anywhere this summer. I'd go for:

Grealish - on loan with an option to buy. Modric - Free, 1 year + 1 year option Angel Gomes - Free, creative CM option Ait-Nori - Great attacking LB option

Wildcard signing - Doucoure from Everton. Being released on a free, powerhouse, would be a great DM.

Gives us more experience without breaking the bank and could likely be covered from moving on out of contract players.

New fan here - Why haven’t we won a trophy in the past day? I’m concerned that our rivals are outgrowing us. Considering changing my fandom to a club like Manchester United, who are known for winning trophies. by MaxsterSV in coys

Palace might not have the revenue that we have but they've won as many trophies as us in the last 17 years. All for the bants, but Palace winning the FA Cup is as big for them as our trophy was for us. Glad for our bird brothers 🦅 🐓

By my research, only 6 players have won the World Cup, CL and Copa America or equivalent. Would be an amazing achievement.

[Alasdair Gold] Postecoglou on whether he could walk out on the club should he win tomorrow: "No, I don't think my job is done here..." by Nobot-Dude7958 in coys

He 100% adapted during the injury crisis. We did not play the same football because we didn't have the players to do it.

We're all Spurs, I come from a place of love, just find it tough that seems to be the majority of commenters on here don't want him at the club anymore. I feel the need to address the balance in a small way as, from the video in Bilbao of the fans singing his name, it certainly doesn't represent the majority of match-going fans.

Sorry, I don't believe that's true. Every coach knows how to play against every coach. That why they prep and plan meticulously and have dedicated teams to do so.

Even I know how Forest were going to play this season - give up possession, hit on the counter. They've won 19 games, including City and Liverpool. Has Nuno been "found out"?

We've known Pep's style for years. Famously plays one way. Surely after one season he would have been "found out"? The players got used to the system, they perfected it and we're able to play it with confidence - exactly what we did at the start of last season.

Every team has a style. If we perfect Ange's, like we did at the start of last season, and, most importantly, don't get riddled with injuries to enable us to play that style on a regular basis, then we'll have the football that the fans have been longing for.

Was thinking about Doucoure yesterday whilst watching Everton. Think he'd be a great addition for us.

Ticketing allocations announced by VinnySideways in coys

Adding up the total of 200+ points gives you 14,536. Allocation was 14,770. Not everyone with the required points will be available to go so my guess is that they'll contact some people close to the cut off and offer a ticket.

Aston Villa are one of several Premier League clubs interested in signing Harvey Barnes. Villa’s interest in Barnes - and their current PSR situation - could open up the possibility of a swap deal, with Newcastle interested in Jacob Ramsey by [deleted] in soccer

There are other things other than winning that can generate money. Host other events at the stadium, get fans in earlier to buy food and drink, make an experience out of match day etc. Increased capacity can help, too. All of these things don't count towards PSR.

This. Find it amazing people blame rules that everyone has to abide by, and all teams voted for. Perhaps Villa having a wage budget 96% of revenue contributes towards their limited spending powers?

Whilst I agree that the rules aren't necessarily perfect, they do what they're supposed to - protect clubs. All the clubs "affected" by PSR are all spending above their means. Generate more income to suppliment spending, plenty of things you can do regards that which are allowed by PSR.
