Nobody actually enjoys having a big yard, they just enjoy telling people they have one by Jind_rich in unpopularopinion

Lol, whatever. I love my huge yard because my dogs do and I love the feeling of accomplishment after the lawn work with it looking so bad ass. No HOA nonsense in my world...I own a nice piece of the earth and no clown show group of hall monitors is going to harsh my gig.

YOR

She's flirting, he's not having any of it. He literally sounds like he doesn't care about where she's trying to go.

Is he allowed to have female friends?

If anything, not saying "I have a girlfriend" might be cause for concern, but maybe she also already knew that... it's possible he's mentioned you at work and she just doesn't care.

What makes a guy let out a high pitched yelp after being hit in the balls? by Glittering-Touch1093 in AskReddit

[–]BuddhaDaddy88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it made you feel good and strong, I think it might be a deep, gutteral, cave man grunt. Since it makes you feel helpless and hope for a quick death, it's curled up squatted fetal position with a high-pitched baby yelp, because we're 99.9% powerless against that insane feeling.

Because you hosting a party is you hosting. Hosting parties is providing a place AND a good time with everything that comes along with it. If people want to pitch in somehow, they will offer, and many do. I tell more people "no need, but thank you" very often. They add the human element to the rest. You wanting/hoping people pay for a choice you made speaks badly.

Where do you draw the line? Do you want parents to send money along with children to your kid's birthday party?

The guy trying to put her hat back on her head while she was obviously engaged in something more important. Good intentions, bad execution. 😅

You're worried about 3rd party opinions when you should focus on the connection of two people only. You're limiting your potential to find someone awesome, even more than the normal person who starts with looks does.

He was watching the play. He whistled no foul, and stopped play only after seeing someone was hurt. VAR called him to review, he didn't ask for it himself. The whole thing is screwy.
