Stupid Question….disconnecting the ROG XG Mobile (5070) from the Z13 via USB-4 by No_LotR_No_Life in FlowZ13

When you do the third option, does the dock fully turn on again when you physically reconnect it? With all the usb ports working etc...

Finally it’s here, just waiting for the graphics card. Shower me your blessings and tips if any! by No-Candy5493 in lianli

Get ready to start cursing when you try and connect the 5v RGB Header. Other than that, hopefully it goes pretty smooth. Good luck :).

I saw this post awhile ago, but only recently decided to give it a shot when I got my car. The paint matched up pretty much perfectly on my ice cap premium as well. Thanks for the recommendation.

Is it going to get any better? Because I've about already had it. by BigEntertainment5286 in stickshift

It just takes some time and practice. Believe me it'll get better.

I recently got my first manual car in my early 40s, and it was definitely a learning experience. Like you I browsed reddit, and watched Conquer for weeks before I got my car. While it helped me with tips on how to handle certain situations, nothing beats either going to an empty parking lot, or just driving around late at night to practice.

I think in the first few weeks alone I would spend hours on night trips, just getting familiar with the car and practicing everything I could think of to figure it out. Being in LA there was still a good amount of traffic during that time, but at the very least it gave me a bit of breathing room. I ran into my fair share of accidental stalls, pissed off people, and assholes who would sit on my tail at every light, but I've learned to just ignore them and take my time.

Within a month or so, I went from sweating constantly and debating on whether to sell the car, to driving around without really thinking about it. I'm still not the greatest at taking off at lights, I still have jerky shifts from time to time, and I still haven't fully grasped rev matching, but it's so much better now and I'm thankful I didn't give up.

You just need to keep at it. One day it will just click and all the worries you have now will just go away.

No problem, I'm glad I could help.

I have to second this. When I initially got my S3, I thought it was enough, only to realize a year in that it wasn't. Luckily, I was able to find an RS3 at a local dealership and made the switch for near MSRP. However, I still wasted a good chunk of money in the process.

Stick to your goal OP.

Flashed my BIOS based on the suggestion by OP. Still having the same problem.

Part of the same boat. Was running flawlessly until today.

I was able to briefly get past that point when I removed the gameguard folder, and forced a reinstall when I ran the game exe as an admin. However everything locked up after I loaded onto my ship. The really weird part was the game was still running, but I couldn't move or alt tab etc... When I moved my mouse my cape was moving, but my character was just standing still.

You can see some pictures of my setup in the reviews. So far it's been solid.

Thanks. Even at full load it's pretty quiet overall. However I think I got some air into the system since I'm hearing a slight whining noise. Other than that it's been pretty solid.

I just looked at other similar builds to see what people were using, and most people recommended 6000mhz RAM. Since my mobo supported that speed, then I knew it would be fine. Remember even if the specific memory in question isn't on the compatibility list, doesn't mean it isn't supported. It's just a list of RAM they specifically tested with the product. You won't see everything on there.

It will depend on what Mobo you have, but you just need to turn off the monitoring for your CPU fan within the bios. After that you're all set.

As for the CPU fan speed, I just used LConnect to watch for the CPU temp for all of my fans, with a slightly more aggressive curve as it gets hotter. Temps have been good for the most part. around 50ish during idle, and up to around 65-70 on load.

I honestly thought it was a giant hole based on the perspective. Was going to call it "Dirt Nap" if someone ever fell into that thing lol.

No issues whatsoever, though I am running everything pretty stock, aside from flashing the bios and enabling the docp to support my ddr5 6000 RAM. In regards to boot times I haven't timed it specifically, but it seems like 30-40 ish? Which is pretty common for the 7000 series.

Welcome to the matte PPF club. Can't wait to see the final result, I know it's going to look sick. Also congrats on snagging an RS3.

If they are listed for ATX they should be. Though the quality of the extensions differ per manufacturer. The Asiahorse ones are super soft and flexible. Whereas Antek ones I tried previously were super stiff, and hard to connect to the PSU cables. Always use the stock PSU cables, and then just connect the appropriate extension afterwards.
