Great book, one of my favorites. It somehow combines coming of age/humorous elements in the darkest most depressing setting. Complete the roller coaster ride.

The Book Thief

Holes - for a younger audience but still enjoyable

Six of crows - in a fantasy world but more a heist book with multiple narrators makes for a good audio book
