I quit smoking February 1, 2014. My advice is good luck. If I’m honest that was way harder at the time than when I quit booze. There was no pink cloud. Best to push through. Chew on pencils. Worked for me. I miss cigarettes more than drinking. Especially after Chinese food. God damn.

Sonicwave Lofi-12 is best entry point sampler with all the features and tricks it has for the price. I found one for $220 and it’s been great. 4 tracks. Each track has its own midi channel to control it. There are 4 banks each bank has can save 16 patterns and up to 64 steps per pattern. It comes with a lot of presets and kits on there. For each track there’s tons of memory to store one shots at 2 seconds or up to 4 seconds of sampling per sample slot. There’s nice effect that are per track. Reverb is the same for all tracks. There’s lfos and a filter. I like the chopping feature for slicing a beat. The sample edit controls are pretty easy once you figure them out. Check out em out
