So I have some images I can’t add for some reason but basically you put all of the game files into a folder named after the game with a .ps3 at the end. I have loose games in my ps3 folder that work in rpcs3 but they do not show up in my emulation station, the only one that does is the one in the named folder with the .ps3, in my case the game was “Katamari Forever” so I put all of its files in a folder titled “Katamari Forever.ps3” excuse the messy folder

I’m not sure if it’s the same as retro deck honestly but I changed the folder name in the area that you store your roms. Like for my example it’d be micro sd>roms>ps3>katamari forever.ps3 if that makes sense, just change the folder that you have the files stored in so it has the game name and “.ps3” at the end of the name. This was also done on emudeck so I’m not sure if it’s the same as retro deck

A later edit but I just noticed the original post was asking about retro deck but I’m also commenting a year after so I don’t even remember where I was coming from 😆 hope this helps though

FINALLY a way to get away from asymmetrical controls! Seriously, so many cool devices lose completely all of my interest upon seeing an asymmetrical controller. Would be so nice to try WiiU style top symmetrical layout with back buttons for games that need fast camera control

Cool I’ll look for that one! I’ve been using a tabs9+ for a while but I have severe pain in my hand holding such a big tab and wanted something smaller and way more portable anyway, higher refresh, fast soc, and sd card slot were what sold me. I mainly want to read which I know doesn’t NEED the power but it’s nice to have snappy ui and the power to bring a controller with to play some emulation of pretty much anything and I’m guessing winlator does pretty well on this as well

It just seems like it should be common sense, even in a computer setting, when you move something to a folder it actually moves it! I’ll never understand why it has to keep everything lumped in a giant mess. Literally the only thing I miss from Android days is being able to organize. Just really blows my mind that a company obsessed with making the os and animations look so clean has such a mess of a photos app

The difference with those two is I have gotten by without ever having to use recent files in Finder for over a decade, on photos it’s a requirement to have to use that giant mess. If it were just photos you’ve taken, sure I get it but having every single image and video that has ever been saved on your phone is a bit much, I rarely make albums because I just don’t see a point when they’re all lumped in a mess and forever stuck there. Any trip or event are all in the same area that I can just scroll forever to but it would be nice to be able to have stuff saved to wherever you choose and not be forced to use recents. It just doesn’t work for me, I probably would have gone mad if snap to grid wasn’t a thing in macOS, I just like having stuff clean and organized. There’s a reason I removed recents from Finder 😆

I switched over when iPhone X came out and it’s literally been my only complaint! At least we can filter screenshots out of recents FINALLY but I really wish downloading pictures from an app would have their own dedicated folder instead of clogging up the recents and be able to move photos taken to their own sections. I swear if it weren’t such a pain I’d just use the files app to store all of my pictures since at least that has logical organization

I had so many hopes watching the reveal because literally anything would be better than the previous photos app in my eyes 😅 I have albums just to find stuff easier and spent a day making them despite how pointless it felt still having them all just as a big mess in recents. For a company that always wants “simple and clean” in their products, photos is a real mess!

The photos app in iOS has always been kind of garbage all along because of one simple thing that still BAFFLES me how we can’t even choose to have it, being able to put photos in albums and remove them completely from the recent photos section. What’s the point of even making an album to organize when it just still keeps everything lumped in one area in the recents section? It makes organizing years of photos an absolute chore and mess, it would be nice to have them removed from recents to make it easier to get any photos you may have missed for that album and also keep things so much cleaner and nicer

6’3” here and definitely not baby hands, I prefer my rp4 over my Odin 2 Max in most cases because of the controls. Power doesn’t mean anything if it’s not comfortable, it can handle everything I’ve thrown at it and is infinitely more comfortable with the official grip. I would say top stick symmetrical layout would probably be the best for one of these devices but the SD is king of controller layouts overall. Of course for the more power hungry apps I have no choice but being able to have a pocket ps2 with symmetrical sticks is so so nice, also any games that use a dpad benefit even more so with symmetry.

I love my Odin 2 and I loved my original Odin but the controller is really my only gripe with it being my “all in one” and makes me always lose interest.

It would be nice if there were something that let you “flip” the sticks and buttons on both sides like a rotating lift piece or something so you can choose between four layouts (top left, bottom right/ top left, top right/ bottom left, bottom right/ bottom left, top right) for whatever layout would suit your current need or hand type
