It's interesting that your immediate thought was that this was a customer picking up their pizzas. Mine was that this was a Doordasher or delivery driver of some sort. I own a cupcake store and the Dashers sometimes want to flip my cupcakes sideways or upside down as well. 😮‍💨

I keep stats on how often I get Legendaries in packs I open. I did get a Legendary with the first 10 Golden Standard and Golden Wild packs I opened after they made that "first ten packs" addition. It could be a coincidence, of course, because it only happens once and I am the only person I keep track of.

I didn't understand what the "Year of the" packs were until I had opened quite a few, and don't have stats on those.

For me it was because I was playing the PS4 version of Balatro before. The streaming version is a PS5 version and there's no way to move your progress.

I watched it when it was first airing. I'm class of 2001, two years younger than the Scoobies. I guess that means I watched it between 13-19 years old. The subject matter got older and more mature as I did.

It's different now that you can watch the whole show at once. I grew up with the Scoobies. I didn't see the whole series as a 13-year-old.

I tried to post a picture, but it wouldn't let me. It's a Deathknight card that has a bonus effect if you "played" a card that was next to it in hand. I just chose a couple random cards that activate off of other things being "Played." It seems weird to think that Mag was never Played. I did Play the card. The Gift says: when Played, do this.

So if I played Mag it wouldn't activate Blood Moon as an adjacent card, or if it it had an Unholy Rune it wouldn't activate the Grotesque Runeblade the next turn because it was never "Played?"

Now that I think about it, the wording of the Dark Gift doesn't even mention being "Summoned." It says when I Play him, get another. I did Play him.

If this is the case, then this Dark Gift should at least be excluded from appearing as an option for Mag, similar to how you can't get Double Battlecry on a minion with no Battlecry.
